## What is Weights & Biases?

Stay on top of your machine learning runs—without staying at your desk.

The Weights & Biases mobile app lets you monitor experiments in real time and get notified when something important happens.

Whether you’re training large language models, fine-tuning models, or running sweeps, you can:

• View live and completed runs
• Zoom and pan through training curves
• Track loss, accuracy, throughput, and custom metrics
• Receive notifications when runs finish or fail
• Get alerted when key metrics change
• Quickly sanity-check results between meetings

The app connects securely to your existing W&B projects so you can monitor progress from anywhere. No dashboards to rebuild—your runs are already there.

The W&B mobile app is available for Free, Academic, and cloud-hosted Enterprise (SaaS) accounts. Dedicated and on-premises deployments are not yet supported.

### 5/5 — ★★★★★ Finally, I can check on my runs without pulling out my laptop

*2026-08-27*

As a researcher, I’m constantly checking on training runs, and until now that meant squinting at the mobile browser or waiting till I’m back at my desk. Having a real app that just shows me my metrics and lets me glance at loss curves while I’m grabbing coffee is honestly a game changer. So much smoother than the browser version. Love it ❤️

### 5/5 — Very handy for monitoring runs when away from desk

*2026-08-27*

This is a useful app. I use it to view my projects, runs and has an AI agent -ARIA that analyses my runs and suggests next experiments.

### 3/5 — Why no log scale?

*2026-08-25*

Love the idea of this app, but there’s no option to change the axis scaling. Makes the app almost unusable for monitoring training

### 4/5 — Please add features

*2026-07-18*

As ML engineers we rely on it everyday to check how work is going. Please add features and make it better!

### 5/5 — Good

*2026-06-14*

I am surprised wandb even having apps, very convenient for me!

### 4/5 — Incredible, but not complete

*2026-05-15*

It’s amazing to now have an official Weights and Biases app. This has been very helpful to me.
However it is missing some key features regarding the graphs like setting smoothing settings, picking which runs to show to compare between, and other stuff like that.
But overall it is incredible.

### 4/5 — Needs more features

*2026-05-12*

Love the ability to see experiment results on the go, but I’d like to be able to group and tag runs similar to how the web version works.

### 4/5 — Poor filtering

*2026-04-06*

I’m very happy that there’s an app now, but I wish there was better filtering so I could compare runs

### 2/5 — Years late and artificially limited

*2026-03-23*

This app only works if you have a paid multi-tenant W&B account. If you’re on an individual or free plan, you’re locked out, and nothing in the App Store listing tells you that before you download. The community has been asking for mobile access for years, and gating it behind enterprise pricing is a bizarre choice. Worth noting: as of 22 March 2026, individual runs are actually visible in the app, which makes the restriction feel more like a deliberate product decision than a technical limitation. 2 stars from 1 since it partially works in its current state

**Developer response:** Hi, thanks for the review.

To clarify, the W&B mobile app does support free multi-tenant accounts and is not limited to paid plans.

If you're encountering issues logging in or seeing your runs, please send a note to support@wandb.com and we're happy to dig into the problems you're seeing. Thanks again.

### 5/5 — Been waiting on this forever

*2026-03-18*

Finally I can see my experiments on the go when I’m travelling, used to go to the mobile webpage all the time but having an app with notifications for failed experiments is superb.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 26.22 — 2026-08-24

What’s New
- Charts zoom and scale on both axes. Pinch vertically as well as horizontally, double-tap to zoom in a step at a time, and watch the Y axis rescale to the visible portion of the curve so small variations late in a run stay readable.
- Run cards on the Runs tab prefer a project’s starred metrics when choosing which metric to display.
- Viewing logs for a finished or crashed run stops polling for new lines, cutting network use and battery drain.

### 26.21 — 2026-08-18

What's New
- Run cards on the Runs page prioritize your starred metrics when choosing which metric to display.
- The chart detail screen shows the metric name in the navigation title for a cleaner, more focused layout.
- The Runs tab omits the "Preview unavailable" message for runs that have no chartable metric, keeping run summaries focused on relevant details.
- Run logs render through an upgraded log viewer for smoother scrolling through long log output.
- Notification settings are hidden for instances that aren't connected to the Weights & Biases SaaS server.
- Log viewing for finished runs stops polling for new lines, reducing unnecessary network and battery use.

### 26.20 — 2026-08-10

What’s New
  - Reference projects and runs directly in your agent chat messages.
  - Run tooltips display with improved legibility and stay fully on screen, even for long run names.
  - Panel sections load from the complete set of available metrics, so you no longer see missing metric groups on the Panels tab.

Bug Fixes
  - The project menu button announces its purpose to VoiceOver users.

### 26.19 — 2026-08-05

Enhanced Run Logs
Introducing an enhanced run logs viewer, rebuilt for large training runs. ANSI color output renders faithfully, so colored output from your scripts looks exactly as intended. Recent log output appears immediately even for runs with hundreds of thousands of lines, with the rest loading in the background. Find it in the Logs tab of any run.

### 26.18.1 — 2026-07-29

Bug Fixes
  - Fixed an issue where the navigation bar could cover search fields and other content
