It now only works when you’re in Bluetooth range. Unfortunately, it appears they’ve just cut their losses and given up. The support several years ago was good. No need for extra accounts it just links into HomeKit. Fantastically simple! ### 5/5 — Works just fine. *2020-02-05, version 1.2.0* I am not sure what everyone is complaining about here but I’ve used this application on IOS 12 and never had issues. I am currently running IOS 13.3.1 without any issues. It would also be nice if the locks alerted when the battery was low through HomeKit. ### 2/5 — Locked out *2023-03-10, version 1.2.0* First full day with the lock installed, it locked my fiancé and newborn out of our house in -7•C snowing weather. She called me to use the app to unlock it and the app is telling me “Lock Not Available”. So I had to leave work to go unlock it for them. What use is having a smart lock if the app doesn’t work? You also have to “invite” other users to give them access to control the lock on the app but if you push the button to invite them it just keeps giving a buffering wheel for hours and never sends an invite. If you buy this lock make sure you carry your key on you at all times. That being said it was easy to install and follow the interactive instructions on the app and it looks great, but the app just doesn’t work well enough to warrant the price. ### 2/5 — Randomly fails to connect. *2022-11-05, version 1.2.0* You know that frustrating feeling when Apple HomeKit notifies you that your front door has been unlocked, but the Weiser app can’t connect to the lock? When you know someone is in your house, but you don’t know who? Or if they’ve left and locked up?
