### 2/5 — It shows dat but no report or followers

*2025-12-24, version 2.3.2*

Looks nice. It captures my days fine. So where are my followers? Nothing I can find to add any. It says reports to share. Where?? Beyond data capture it’s big 0. Nothing I can find to help.

### 2/5 — Doesn’t work with iPhone 17

*2025-11-12, version 2.3.2*

After upgrading from an iPhone 14 to 17Pro, this app no longer works on my phone. Does not let me login and selecting password reset does not send an email to reset. Checked Spam folder

### 1/5 — Out of date and doesn’t work with current version of IOS

*2025-10-17, version 2.3.2*

Last update 2017. Randomly pairs with the app but no data sent . Eventual BT timeout / error with scale. Used to work with the BP cuff. No tech support at all. Returning 2 scales an 2 cuffs. This app appears to have been completely abandoned by Baxter.

### 1/5 — Terrible

*2025-10-04, version 2.3.2*

App needs an update

### 1/5 — Bluetooth won’t connect

*2025-09-16, version 2.3.2*

It used to work. I’m assuming it has to do with iPhone iOS updates

### 2/5 — Shuts of

*2025-08-28, version 2.3.2*

Every time you go on it it shuts off you can’t do anything on it

### 1/5 — Need update

*2025-08-21, version 2.3.2*

Please update the app. It just crashes all the time. I just want it to connect to my Apple Health app.

### 1/5 — Embarrassing

*2025-08-20, version 2.3.2*

This is the worst App. Talking about a company dropping the ball and there is no help !

### 2/5 — Please update the app

*2025-08-15*

This app is so old that it used to work very well in earlier version iPhone like iPhone 7 but does not work well on latter iPhone like 15, ie this app did not keep up with latest iOS, can save only one reading even if you take multiple reading a day, you can’t view your old reading, if you click the button for earlier reading, the app just quit, it’s horrible, please fix the app, it is good when it used to work.
Even the app page says it was last updated 7 years ago, so please update the app so that it works on latest iOS and more

### 1/5 — Terrible software to put it generously

*2025-08-05*

This is perhaps the worst software I’ve ever used. The program abruptly stops and closes every time I try to access any of the historic readings that it clearly saves and shows on an otherwise in-interpretable graph. And even worse for no apparent reason I just discovered that it stopped writing the data from my daily readings to my iPhone’s Health data, so despite carefully collecting it over the past several weeks I cannot share any of my Blood Pressure readings with my doctor.

This program is truly an embarrassment to Welch Allyn — a high school student with ChatGPT could write a better one. And it jeopardizes critical health data for people who depend on it. Shame on you, Welch Allyn for not fixing it.

### 1/5 — Buggy

*2025-07-28, version 2.3.2*

Does not save and list previous data. Buggy. Touch list or graph option and it closes app.

### 2/5 — disappointed

*2025-06-13, version 2.3.2*

this is a big disappointment. paired but no data arrives. deleted, reinstalled several times

### 1/5 — Connection timed out

*2025-06-08, version 2.3.2*

Server appears to be down so the app is unable

### 1/5 — BP monitor

*2025-06-04, version 2.3.2*

BP app work fine for several months and then suddenly would not take my information nor let me reset the app password. I’ve talked to the company. I am trying again, but having the same problem. I am deleting this app and going to another company and using their BP monitor.

### 1/5 — No access to your data when their server is down

*2025-05-07, version 2.3.2*

The app doesn’t work unless your device can communicate with their servers. Worse yet, you lose access to all of your past data.
It also appears that there are no support options. Too bad. The W-A BP cuff and scale are decent products. I would look elsewhere for health products that sync with your phone or other devices.

### 1/5 — 💥Crashes Everytime

*2025-04-27, version 2.3.2*

The app has not been updated in 7-years. I contacted the company, there are aware of the issue and said an update is coming soon. That was almost a year ago. I’m moving on…. Apple should remove app like this that’s obviously abandoned!!!!!!

### 1/5 — Used to Be Great / Now Broken

*2025-04-05, version 2.3.2*

You’d think they’d worry about their brand being associated with a broken app. The pity is that it used to work really well until they stopped updating it. I can’t understand it.

### 2/5 — Please update the app

*2025-04-05, version 2.3.2*

This app is so old that it used work very well in earlier version iPhone like iPhone 7 but does not work well on latter iPhone like 15, ie this app did not keep up with latest iOS, can save only one reading even if you take multiple reading a day..please fix the app, it is good when it used to work.

### 2/5 — Please fix!

*2025-03-25, version 2.3.2*

I need to use this app for monitoring my BP and it crashes all the time. No way to view “List” or export data. Please fix asap!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Crashes on ipados 26. Last update was 8 years ago.

*2026-01-21, version 2.3.2*

Basically the title. Crashes when you try to view history.

### 1/5 — Never again…

*2026-01-14, version 2.3.2*

Your app keeps crashing. I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max. I've restarted the phone and reinstalled the app. For that kind of money, it's not a big deal. I'll be returning the device. And the links to contact you don't work.

### 1/5 — Don’t bother, still not functional

*2026-01-09, version 2.3.2*

This app is still not functional 1/9/26. Welch Allyn Home says they said a new app is in development (probably a couple months away). On the upside, I actually got a human on the phone. Posting again in hopes of saving others time and frustration which leads to elevated blood pressure.

### 1/5 — Worst App ever

*2026-01-01, version 2.3.2*

Unable to see data. Shuts down every time you touch it. Does not seem compatible with my phone.

### 1/5 — Stopped reporting to Apple Health in iOS 26

*2026-01-01, version 2.3.2*

When iOS26 came out, the app stopped sending any data to Apple Health.

Totally useless now

### 1/5 — App needs work

*2025-12-30*

This app is very temperamental. I will open it, then swipe up to open a second app. Going back to the Welch Allyn app it has logged itself out requiring me to login again. This occurs several times a week. I have passcode and biometrics set on my phone so I do not know why the app would ever log out unless I do it myself. This has been going on through several “bug fixes”. Seems like this should never be an issue.

### 1/5 — Crashes

*2025-12-14, version 2.3.2*

Crashes every time I use it. Therefore returning the product because it doesn’t work with the interface.

Baxter really dropped the ball on this one

### 1/5 — Signing in no longer work

*2025-10-26, version 2.3.2*

Seems like this application has been ended of life, but the blood pressure monitor still being sold. Application hasn’t been updated in more than 8 years. Disappointing Welch Allyn believes this is acceptable.

### 1/5 — Can’t create Account

*2025-10-25, version 2.3.2*

Tried a dozen times, screen doesn’t move forward.

### 1/5 — Unstable and old

*2025-10-24, version 2.3.2*

The last time this app was updated was over seven years ago. Clearly this developer has no interest in maintaining their software or developing new features. I found it to be very unstable and buggy, and therefore cannot recommend the app.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — The BP app for Welch Allyn 1700

*2025-06-22, version 2.3.2*

App is use less can’t even down load it and install,it on any of my modern and new phones or tablets neither Android or Apple units. The only solution is to get an attorney and process, a sizable lawsuit against the company as this is a medical device and they have taken no effort to improve and make it available to people who buy their product such as the Welch Allyn 1700 blood pressure monitor, especially when considering blood pressure is a silent killer and doctors often ask patients to obtain their own home, Blood pressure monitor. It seems that Baxter and Welch Allyn are only going to be woken up by a big lawsuit that it’s gonna cost, them Some serious money. And in California is a good place to start with a court action with a California jury. I am looking in to now!

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2021-02-26, version 2.3.2*

I love this app! Once you connect it to Bluetooth it logs every reading with no issues. 5 stars

### 5/5 — Works well with Apple Health app

*2017-07-20, version 2.2.1*

Very simple-to-use app that does what it's supposed to do and seems to do it well. Integration with the Health app has made it even better.

### 4/5 — Please Improve Me

*2020-12-14, version 2.3.2*

Taking several BP readings and sending to spreadsheet. It does not send all readings for that particular time as it only sends one of the set of readings to your spreadsheet. This app could use some TLC.

### 4/5 — Great product but app needs improvement

*2018-02-10, version 2.3.2*

It does exactly I need. However, there is more than one person in my household. Mainly, my wife!

Furthermore my wife love the BP and Scales. The problem is the app has no means to isolate her values from my own unless we manually delete the duplicate entries.

### 4/5 — Great but

*2017-07-29, version 2.2.1*

It works wonderfully well when paired with their blood pressure monitor. I love the graphs. My doctor thinks it's great as well since I can easily show her my readings.

But

It can only be set up for one person. So, my husband can't use it without it showing in my numbers.

### 3/5 — ok except for data issue

*2024-03-07, version 2.3.2*

in principle, the appp collects data from the bp device only when both are on which is understandable, but although it will up load several readings if it's been a while since both devices were on simultaneously, it nearl always loses the earlier ones not taken simultaneously. seems like a problem that should be easy to fix. but...

other than that it seem to work fine, providing. more useful info than other apps for other brands.

### 3/5 — No update in 5yrs?

*2023-09-27, version 2.3.2*

Update your app. What gives?

### 3/5 — Behind the times

*2021-05-08*

The upside to this app is that it works exactly as advertised. The ability to automatically share with your physician (IF they support it) is nice.

Unfortunately this app is very dated. It is not capable of being full screen on a a plus/max iPhone. It was updated recently enough that it really should. There’s also no way to delete readings. So, if you have an error, don’t have the cuff on correctly, etc, too bad. It’s getting saved.

For a somewhat pricey device from a very reputable manufacturer I would have expected more.

### 3/5 — Bluetooth doesn’t sync

*2020-02-26*

I love the b/p device but I have to reinstall the app daily to get my moms readings. It doesn’t ever download and save to the list unless I uninstall and reinstall the app for each use. Very frustrating as it does not even store the reading so If it doesn’t transfer and I wasn’t immediately looking at it, we must repeat. The only reason I paid this much was for the Bluetooth capability.
