I had 3 scheduled pick up for different days and times making it super easy for me. Unfortunately only 1 driver ever picked us up and that was the first one. He is the only reason for the 2 stars because he was really nice. The next ride never found a driver and was cancled as we were 30 minutes away on a ferry making it difficult to even schedule a new ride. We had to call and uber. The final one was our return to the airport where our scheduled driver didnt even show up and didnt respond to our messages so we just got an uber. ### 1/5 — Mark *2026-06-20, version 1.8.7* They say you get a refund when you cancel but we’re £50 light. Their bot brought me to a page with no option for entering a coupon. It was an unexpectedly bad experience after several good ones. ### 1/5 — Beware *2026-05-30, version 1.8.2* The company's advertised price to the Barcelona airport was €47 but they raised it to €50 as soon as we specified the time, and then they took additional €1.50 with neither warning norexplanation. Their web site provided no way to contact them and no way to cancel the booking without full payment, although it was nearly a day away. In Toronto they are charging more the standard fixed-price taxis snd limos. ### 1/5 — 20% loss on refunds! *2026-05-29, version 1.8.2* If you cancel, you get a voucher valid for a year or 80% of the value refunded! Great driver and very helpful and ended up using the driver for the rest of our trip. He was very prompt, helpful and very smooth while driving. Worked out great for all 6 of us and plenty of bags too. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Horrible service *2026-09-07, version 1.9.7* This was one of my worst travel experiences. I booked for pickup from my train and then my train was delayed such that the connection already left. I immediately contacted customer service and the driver and neither responded. When I asked for a refund, they gave me a coupon, which I couldn’t use for the ride because it was too close to when I needed to be picked up, so it is completely worthless and I’m out over $100. ### 1/5 — Booked a pickup, they canceled. *2026-09-01, version 1.9.4* Booked a pick-up in a dangerous city with more than their minimum time window. They canceled. They are not reliable. Not using Welcome Pickups again, ever. ### 1/5 — Scammers ( the company stole my money ) as a driver *2026-08-13, version 1.9.4* They stole my earning that I’ve been trying to work very hard to earn it . Additionally, they charged me for two trips that customer claimed as I never showed up while I had showed up and performed the rides . Emailed the company with the proofs. And they declined the proofs, which were pictures videos – Cameras locations communication with the customer whenever I provide one a proof they find another reason to ask for more proof so basically they doesn’t want to pay you for it I paid attention to my statement. I found that in top of not paying they also charge me for the ride. ### 1/5 — Horrible experience and rip-off *2026-08-06, version 1.9.0* I booked a pick up for me my wife and my one year old daughter from Prague airport to my hotel. I did the book 2 days in advance. The rider was never confirmed, and no one showed up at the airport. I had to scramble and juggle a baby to find a ride to the airport. On top of this when I went to request a refund, they only refund up to 80%. Basically been scammed of 20% of the cost. BE careful. I will not use this application again ### 1/5 — Getting double charged and no response from Support *2026-07-28, version 1.9.0* I booked an upcoming reservation for a pick up in Paris and noticed that they charge me an extra $40 on a separate transaction. I’m trying to get a hold of Support with no response. Seems like a pretty scammer service to me. ### 1/5 — Driver never showed up in Spain *2026-07-13, version 1.8.10* Customer service was terrible- they did nothing to help - charged $200 - took uber instead for $58. ### 1/5 — Taxi service that’s arranged *2026-07-05, version 1.8.7* Total waist of money. All I got both times was a taxi. No one at airport waiting as advertised. I had to go out and find driver. No one helped with bags. Set up Welcome again next day from Hotel to train station…another damn taxi. My upscale hotel would do this for free. We are traveling with my 86 year old mother who just had chemo before trip and used Welcome based on reviews and the extra concierge help advertised. A damn taxi and premium rates. DO NOT SPEND A $$ ON THIS SERVICE. You can do This all on your own for a fraction of cost. Especially if I have to move 10 pieces of luggage while they watch. ### 1/5 — Customer service *2026-06-26, version 1.8.7* Terrible, had an issue with my booking and could not be assisted, ignored my flight times yet the ask for the flight information to help make my pick up easy, in fact they ignored it. ### 1/5 — Less than ideal *2026-06-24, version 1.8.7* Picked up from Copenhagen hotel for delivery to Cruise Terminal. We heard from the company’s dispatcher the day before pick up who promptly tried to renegotiate the price and threatened to cancel the booking, because we each had hand luggage. On the day, 2 Uber vans arrived and transported our group of 10 without any issues. But it begs the question, are Welcome Pickups nothing more than a company who use Uber’s and charge you for the privilege. Would never use again. Bryan ### 1/5 — Bad driver in London *2026-06-23, version 1.8.7* Use welcome several times always professional until today the driver was rude and keep complaining about having my backpack and he want to count as another luggage. I told him I can put on my lap but it said he will get penalty because of it ? How come backpack on my lap can make him have penalty? I did contact customer service and not helpful at all. He told me to book uber to get into my hotel .
