The fact that early registrations for KCLSU events via this app were not valid and linked to the KCLSU website registrations was already annoying but the notification about that situation from the staff sent almost a week after registrations happened was truly a cherry on top. Should have been announced from the very beginning to prevent misunderstanding ### 5/5 — Helpful And Easy To Navigate *2023-09-07* Like the title says, the app is significantly helpful with providing all the info needed, and allowing us to add events into our schedules etc. Most the bad reviews are from years ago, and the app is incredibly easy to navigate around now so I have 0 complaints. Also it's so convenient to have an app rather than use websites! So thank you KCL for that ### 1/5 — Useless, terrible on iOS, no timetable *2022-09-25* It’s very annoying to have to download this to get the ID card when everything else is done on eventbrite. You have get a code via email to get your “guide” which barely has anything of use since it opens on to KCL webpages anyway. It doesn’t even the bare minimum of the user timetable for easy access, just an empty calendar. Everything opens outside of the app. ### 4/5 — How do I change the language? *2022-08-25, version 2022.2* So I’m a Taiwanese who uses Traditional Chinese. it’s fine that this app does not have Traditional Chinese since I do understand Simplified Chinese and English. But why on earth my app is in Japanese!? I don’t understand any Japanese at all!!! And I didn’t even find a place to change the language in the settings! Please, I need to use this app…… ### 5/5 — Fantastic *2021-09-22* It’s worth noting that a fair few numbers of the poor reviews are from a couple of years ago. Seems to be that any issues they mentioned have been resolved, as I found the app to be brilliant in my experience. A University having a mobile app is a fantastic addition to their existing resources, and it makes life much easier. I use it every day, and saves me a serious amount of time when booking a place on events, checking my schedule and finding where I am going on campus. A massive advantage over many other establishments, where you would need to use clunky websites on a mobile phone to trundle through multiple web pages in order to find what you need. Well designed in my opinion, easy to use and simple to navigate. (BA History Undergrad) ### 1/5 — Entirely empty app *2021-09-09* Signed up, as required, no content in the app at all. Useless. ### 1/5 — Awful *2020-09-15* While I understand it is convenient to use mobile apps, it is absolutely disgusting to force students use this app without alternatives. I do not want to share my private information with a third party company, but in the case I have no choice because King’s does not provide any alternative. Very unprofessional for a reputable higher education institution. ### 5/5 — Good *2020-08-16* Thank you very good and very great website for student help I enjoy lots of it and kind regards to King College. ### 1/5 — This app is awful *2019-09-10* This is the first time I’ve ever been forced to install an app in order to collect an ID card and complete enrolment in a university, and the app hardly even works. This is a ridiculous system. The navigation is unnecessarily confusing. Why do I need to download the guide before seeing the ID collection options? It’s despicable that KCL is forcing us the give away our information and in the terms and conditions we are made to sign up to promotional material, with no clear way to delete our account after being made. This could have easily been done on the student service website. ### 5/5 — Incredibly useful! *2019-09-05* This app is super simple to use and extremely useful for all the new King’s college student.
