It’s nice that they don’t expect you to be on it all day. Love the graphics and foforest friends are awesome. The game could be majorly improved by developers if they made machine upgrades quicker. Some upgrades take two days. Also the amount or resources needed to complete a task is overwhelmingly off balance. It takes way to long to mine resources compared to what’s needed to produce a craft item. I also think locks on food are rude. I’ve read through the negative reviews and while some have a point (nobody talks in the square, for example- not something devs can fix..) others are just people making reviews before fully experiencing the game. Anyone who says this game ISNT free to play friendly, didn’t play for more than a couple days. There are regular events and “hot times” where you can easily earn HUNDREDSSSS of gems. The prices are high (like 100,000 coins to spin a grab 10 times) because that isn’t a lot of money in this game’s economy. Overall, this game deserves much more recognition, fame, and success.. but I dread the day that really happens. The tiny community of players are so kind, friendly, and helpful right now. I’ve actually gate kept this game rather than publicly recommending it because I fear the number of trolls and negative people that will inevitably flood the game at some point in the (hopefully distant) future. I play another game that is similar in ways but much more popular, and that game is flooded with bullies and trolls, and it’s turned into a total cash grab where the devs don’t care at all about the players. Welcome To My Home is such a drastic change from that. I feel very at home and cozy here. It’s genuinely so much fun to play, there’s an active discord community, a lot of thought and effort has been put into the plot, gameplay, dynamics, art and etc. Since it has a farming aspect I thought it would be like 1 hour for wheat to grow and crops would take too long but it’s not like that AT ALL and it makes it so much easier to play and enjoy the game. Should definitely take the time to check this game out. There’s one gacha option that asks for 10,000 gems for ONE pull. In the store, 1250 gems sell for 99.99 and gives you some additional 25% gems. We are talking more than $600 for ONE pull. Ridiculous money grabs. Not to mention regular gameplay wise there’s so many places where it asks you for gems, which are hard to come by in the first place. I can say when I had my old iPhone and played, I never got the hang of it. Had a hard time getting in a guild and getting gems, having enough storage and understanding how to navigate the game. I eventually learned that leveling up will take quite some time after a certain lvl. You don’t need to keep everything you farm or craft. Only craft what’s necessary and what you need. SELL EVERYTHING YOU DONT NEED or if it requires you to be at a certain lvl. I usually sell anything that’s 2 or 3 lvls higher. You can always request, buy or farm anything you’ll need in the future. Get connected with in game people. Add workshops/people that are active and have a decent looking shop, that’ll tell you how much a person puts into the game. Visit friends shops daily and comment on their guest books to start friendships in the game. So it’s easier to ask around for things and get into a guild. I work night shifts so it’s nice to have that time gap when crops need time to harvest and gives time for things to get done in the game. I do lose motivation time to time and only check in for daily gifts and to try and complete the daily quests. Some days I don’t check in. Most days I put work into the game. It’s a slow game but always something to do! I enjoy it so much because it’s all at the fingers. How fast the game moves is how much you play. I learned second time around how to play and I’ve came into so many free gems and have been able to step up my game and gotten to absolutely love and adore this game! However, I’m so sad because I can’t find any language settings in the game. I used to play this game a lot when I lived in Korea, and now that I’m in the US, the English makes it a bit difficult for me. I really wanted to enjoy the game comfortably in my native language. But since I love this game so much, I’m still giving it a high rating! Some of the reviews say that it is super inactive. Technically the guilds can be hard to get into, yes this is true. It got even more fun once I joined the community on Discord and got to speak to players in the game. Please please please at least try this game for 1-2 days and then make a judgement.
