## What is Welding Parameter Lookup?

Starting a weld job on unfamiliar material or thickness and need the right amperage, voltage, and wire speed? Dialing in settings by trial and error wastes filler metal, gas, and time. This app gives you proven parameter sets for every common process and material combination.

Select welding process (MIG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Core), base metal (mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum), and material thickness. Get recommended amperage range, voltage, wire feed speed, shielding gas, electrode or wire type, polarity, and application notes.

PROCESSES COVERED:
- MIG (GMAW) with short circuit, globular, and spray transfer
- TIG (GTAW) with AC and DCEN settings
- Stick (SMAW) with rod type selection
- Flux-Core (FCAW) with gas-shielded and self-shielded options
