## What is Welding Written?

The Craftsman Welding written exam, in the palm of your hand.

Welding is a core course at Korea's government-funded vocational academies.
The Craftsman Welding (용접기능사) and Craftsman Special Welding (특수용접기능사)
written exams share the same format, so this app covers both. 330 questions
follow six units of the official HRD Korea exam standard, every one with a full
explanation. Work through them in order and you will be ready — no sign-up, no
internet connection required.

■ CBT mock exam, just like the real thing
· 60 questions drawn automatically in the syllabus proportions (60-minute timer)
· Move between questions on an OMR answer sheet like the real exam
· Instant pass/fail against the 60-out-of-100 standard (one subject, no cutoff)
· Leave mid-exam and pick up exactly where you left off
· Five full rounds with no repeats — new questions every time

■ Wrong-answer notes that keep only what you got wrong
· Questions you miss are collected automatically
· Get one right three times running and it graduates off the list
· Add your own memo to any question
· Filter by unit, sort by how often you missed it

■ Study unit by unit
· Welding basics & procedures / Shielded metal arc welding / Gas welding & cutting
Special welding (CO2, TIG, MIG, submerged arc) / Welding materials / Drawing reading
· Broken into 30 sub-topics so you can study in short sittings
· The special welding unit is the largest (70 questions) for Special Welding candidates
· Pick an answer and see the correct one with its explanation straight away

■ Statistics that show you your weak spots
· Weak units identified automatically from your accuracy per unit
· Graph of your mock exam scores over time
· Study volume for the last two weeks, and your daily streak
· "Weak-point drill" gathers only the questions you get wrong most

■ And more
· Random mock exam — choose the range and the number of questions
· Bookmarks — collect the questions that keep tripping you up
· Search — keyword search across questions, options and explanations
· Dark mode and adjustable text size
· Shuffle questions and options so you don't memorise positions

■ Multilingual, for foreign workers and trainees
· 한국어 / English / Tiếng Việt / ไทย / Bahasa Indonesia / 中文
· All 330 questions translated into five languages
· The real exam is written in Korean, so a side-by-side mode shows the Korean
  original underneath the translation
· Built with E-9 workers and vocational trainees learning welding in Korea in mind

■ Academy referral
Once you pass the written exam and need practical training (SMAW, CO2, TIG),
send an enquiry from inside the app. We will help you find a training provider,
including government-funded courses, that fits your area, schedule and budget.

· Your study records stay on your device and are never sent anywhere.
· The Craftsman Welding and Special Welding written exams are administered by
CBT, so the actual questions are not released publicly. The questions in this
app are practice questions written from the official exam standard and may
differ from the real exam. Check q-net.or.kr for official exam dates and
  eligibility.
