Well Played Soccer is a 2.5D cooperative football multiplayer. The gameplay is fast-paced and demands sharp skill - but to reach the top, you'll need to form a team or join an existing one. Divide responsibilities on the pitch, sharpen your teamwork - that's the recipe for success.

- New shot-blocking mechanism - you must tilt the yellow joystick, and when the ball hits you, you’ll deflect it in the direction the joystick is tilted,
- To prevent such a significant advantage in defence – when you tilt the yellow joystick (without having the ball), your speed is reduced by 30%,
- Visual improvements showing collisions with the ball – they look more natural,
- Quick chat! You can send a message quickly during a match – choose from 6 predefined messages,
- The quick message will only be visible to players on your team,

- Easier cancellation of kicks,
- Replay improvements – displaying goal scorers and assisters.

### 0.12.0 — 2026-08-08

A number of major changes to boost the game’s appeal and competitiveness:

- Statistics! From now on, goals scored, assists and matches played will be tracked. Seasons have also been introduced, allowing us to identify the best players (and, ultimately, the best teams),
- Match statistics will be displayed at half-time and after the match, as well as in the match list,
- The goal scorer and assist provider will be shown after a goal is scored, accompanied by a camera zoom-in (in open and team matches),
- Watts! A new section where you can watch match highlights and goals scored,
- Minor fixes and gameplay improvements, e.g. slightly longer slides,
- Display of a player’s role in the team’s player list.

### 0.11.0 — 2026-08-03

- Shots from very long range should be saved by goalkeeper,
- The goalkeeper returns to his position more quickly after the ball is put back into play,
- The goalkeeper will show his team which way he will kick the ball when play resumes – a green line will be drawn on the pitch,
- Fixed a bug related to slide tackles - a player performing a slide will no longer be knocked down by another player who slides into them, 
- Slide tackles are approximately 10% shorter.
