But today I decided to call at my husbands recommendation. The Dr. I spoke with was wonderful! He was kind and explained everything well. I had no wait time and the appointment itself only took a few minuets. Great job! You saved me from having to go to the ER or urgent care in freezing cold and dangerous weather when I just need a simple antibiotic/steroid. Thank you. My son had an issue that was fairly urgent, but not an emergency and he wouldn’t be able to see our family physician for another 3 weeks. Ironically, my employer had just sent out a flyer about this telemedicine service through our insurance so we decided to try it out! I am so glad we did! The pediatrician we saw was so kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. He provided him with treatment he would have had to wait for otherwise. It saved us from having to go to the ER! I’m 4 weeks out from my weekly appointments and have no clue when I will get to see my provider again. And this app is recommended by MY insurance that’ll let me pay a $10 copay at Med Express. I’ve had three family members each report how they can’t join the appt and get kicked out. Tried different devices, same issue over different days. We’re tech savvy and gave a solid internet connection so it’s not us. What a mess! They have no idea the problems this causes for the customer/patient and no doubt the dr thinks you just don’t know how to use tech. Not true. So now I’m still miserable ### 1/5 — One word - HORRIBLE *2022-01-19, version 12.14.103* Update: I’ll be going to urgent care today since I called 4 times yesterday trying to get my medication filled from my virtual visit. “Tickets” were created and closed after their pharmacy department said they left a voicemail with CVS with my prescription. Cvs has no voicemail and I wasn’t aware doctors could leave prescriptions with pharmacies on their voicemail system without confirming it was received by a human. I tried calling again last night after I found out CVS didn’t have my RX. I sat on hold waiting for the pharmacy department for over 45 minutes & gave up. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• I had a virtual visit with a doctor today for a bladder infection because you can’t seem to go to a local doctor without being Covid tested first. After 2 hours, I checked with my pharmacy that is typically quick to fill my Rx’s and they had not received anything. My visit is nowhere to be found in my well 360 account, and I never got my visit summary via email. I had to call customer service to try to get it straightened out which they had to put a ticket in for the visit not showing in my account. Then they transferred me to their “pharmacy department” to deal with the problem of my prescription not being sent. I chose to have them call me back bc the hold time was over 10 minutes. It’s been almost 30 minutes, no callback, and my pharmacy closes in 1.5 hours. I guess I get to suffer all night if I can’t get my meds today. I’ll add the doctor didn’t have their camera on which really didn’t bother me bc they apologized and told me the reason why but not having a phone call visit option is ridiculous. It was a little odd trying to focus on a black screen while I was talking. This telemedicine option was direct through my BCBS account, but I highly doubt I’ll ever use it again. The one I used with UHC was much better - I never had a problem and I could do a phone call visit which I usually almost immediately got a call back whereas on this virtual visit I sat on hold for 20+ mins waiting for the doctor. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Thank you *2023-10-16* Dr. C was very helpful, she was patient and walked us through a new process. It was probably one of the best doctor visits I’ve ever had and it was a telehealth visit. In fact, I’m probably going to make him my primary care and it’s a couple hour drive but I don’t care when you need a good doctor that will listen to you and actually help you. It’s worth as many hours as you need to drive thank you so much for this app and thank you so much for him. My examination doctor (Dr. Allen) was awesome. She was attentive, straightforward, and keen to answer my questions and prescribe an effective course of treatment. The experience opened my eyes to the incredible convenience and value of telehealth services.
