When you sign in, you get an email code to verify your username. Next you enter a password, and you get a text message to verify your password! When you do get to the website, anything having to do with premium payments is sent to yet another website. The second website responds by telling you your session has timed out and the circus starts again. This app is amateur work. Multiple conflicting steps and it locks you out all the time. Can it remember your log-in credentials in your keychain (apple) for next time? Nope! Better have a secure complex password memorized for when you’re out & about. You know, when you might possibly use an app on your mobile device? But what about the EntryKeyID info @ the bottom, surely that would do something? Nope! It’s just an explanation w/ zero functionality. Obviously nobody ever did a basic minimal check on functionality for this app. & they probably sit in their meetings, wondering why their ratings suck so hard? Nothing can be done, people are just too difficult to please? Yeah, that must be it. Lunch? Don’t mind if I do! ### 1/5 — What is it good for? *2025-12-13, version 2.12* This app is useless. I can’t do anything with it. Can’t see history. Doesn’t have facial recognition. Isn’t able to connect to server. The only thing it seems to be good for is the contact information, but I haven’t confirmed if it’s accurate. Please spend a little money and make it a useful tool. ### 1/5 — Still broken *2025-12-13, version 2.12* Update Dec 2025: Still unusable, constantly says “Cannot connect to server”when trying to use it for almost anything. Don’t waste your time! Complete garbage, do not download. And the poor saps working in tech can only say “we’re working on it!” ### 1/5 — 1) Obtuse, archaic login. 2)Exceedingly limited info inside. *2025-12-05, version 2.11* 12/5/25 update: To repeat, Consensus rating of 1 star is well deserved and generous. 1) No provision to interface with reputable password managers (I.e. Apple or Google) or common mobile access methods (face recognition). 2) No access on app to member account info (password changes, comm preferences, etc. ). Fails to transfer to formulary. Never replies. All-in-all, nearly useless. (Sometimes, you can see your member ID.) ### 1/5 — Junk app *2025-12-05, version 2.11* Login keeps cycling. Hope their website is better. Every time you try to use it, you have to relogin, but your password will not be recognized. You then change your password, it still won’t work. Also the entrykey with email is a joke. Then once you get in, nothing! All I ever get is can’t contact server error and nothing works. Most useless app ever. I type in all my information to prove it’s my account and after going through all the hoops, it says I may already have access to my account. Then I’m directed to start the login process all over again. It just keeps going in circles. It knows I have an account and recognizes that it actually belongs to me but it never lets me get into it. This thing is totally worthless and it hasn’t been fixed to date. I gave up reporting the problem because nothing ever gets done and no one ever contacts me to see if it’s fixed. They know it doesn’t work and they just don’t care. ### 1/5 — Worthless *2026-01-12, version 2.14* This app simply takes one to their website. It literally took me 10 mins to sign in. It didn’t recognize my email address 3 times. Once I finally got to the point of putting in my password it didn’t recognize it so I had to change my password not once but 4 times. Ok then i had to get a verification code. Put that in and it took me back to sign in and once again the madness started over again ### 1/5 — Not working *2026-01-07, version 2.14* Every year WellCare gets a new app and card. Every year the app doesn’t recognize or take information. This happens yearly with every app launch. Please let me know when the ETA to fix the app will be done. I really hate calling in every year 5plus times before it finally gets fixed half way through the year. Also, the area to submit questions isn’t working either. The only thing I can do with this App is, Login. It tells me my coverage is active and gives me NO information about my claims. There is no functionality to this App just like the website (Very Limited on what you can do). I’m also a blind user who needs to use the Voiceover Screenreader and this App (Like the website) is NOT very compatible. This is one of the worst Apps I have ever downloaded and tried to use. The lack of attention, care features and functionality of Welcares App and website says a lot about the company. My personal opinion is, head/horrible App and website means bad/horrible products and services. Thanks ### 4/5 — Apple wallet does not work! *2025-06-26, version 2.9* Every time i wanna put digital wallet card to my collection it won’t let me. ### 4/5 — Pricing *2022-12-02, version 1.9* Pricing is inaccurate. A reminder should be adding that the pricing assumes the deductible has been met. If not, add the deductible to the drug cost. Does not match drug costs on Wellcare website. The main problem is that it doesn’t seem to store the login credentials like other apps. Have a wonderful day ### 3/5 — Useless App *2023-01-10* I’m a new member to WellCare and have purchased a prescription plan. I was directed by WellCare to create an account and download/install the app. I did so but initially I was unable to make use of it. The View ID Card just displayed non-English text, no ID Card. Also, the Find Pharmacy option found none within 50 miles of my location even though I know there is one within 3 miles. I then tried again 3 days later and everything was in order. I am unsure if customer service acted on this review, or is there is a 2 or 3 day waiting period before the app activates.
