Why must companies collude with medical carriers just to get fractional discounts for the insured and in turn the participants give up personal information as a bonus to the medical Insurance industry? It’s so they can make even more money on top of the already exorbitant cost of medical care. Wellness apps do not make people healthier and waste a lot of the users time by having to use it every day. I tried opting in with the bare minimum required just to get the slight reduction in insurance cost and then uninstalled the app after checking that I had done so, only to find out later in the year that I had completed none of the so-called “completed challenges”. What a scam and personal information grab this program is. Shame on the companies that use them.
