### 3/5 — Constant recording processing errors

*2026-08-24, version 4.3.6*

First day using the app, already encountered processing errors 4 times and had to record the speed breakdown three times and still failed to process

### 4/5 — useful app, but..

*2026-08-08, version 4.3.3*

it gets my iphone pro hot very fast, and it drains battery fast. I use microphone a lot for dictation (note taking and also on similar apps), I don’t think this is normal.

### 2/5 — May cancel

*2026-08-06, version 4.3.3*

The app provides feedback after you complete an exercise. It should tell you the expectations, feedback first so you can know what to correct before you perform the exercise.

### 5/5 — Say what you mean!

*2026-07-30, version 4.3.3*

I did not know how much my words were getting in my own way until I started this. A few minutes a day, that is all it takes, and it showed me right where I was stumbling in how I talk to people. My husband noticed before I even said anything to him. Conversations at work go smoother now. Even talking with my grown kids feels easier, less tangled up.

I look forward to it every single day. This is not a fancy program. It is simple, it is honest, and it works. If you want to be understood, really understood, by the people in your life, this is worth your time and money.

### 5/5 — Amazing UI

*2026-07-30, version 4.3.3*

Super great experience

### 5/5 — Speech

*2026-07-28, version 4.3.3*

Amazing app

### 5/5 — So far so good

*2026-07-24, version 4.3.3*

It has only been two days, yet I am impressed with the variety of the tasks and its ability to challenge me.

### 5/5 — The Best

*2026-07-24, version 4.3.2*

It’s the best app ever to improve your public speaking skills, confidence and make your speech clear and unforgettable.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2026-07-23, version 4.3.2*

I have tried so many different things from apps, workbooks to meetings but nothing has been as helpful as this app. I wish I started using it much earlier in my career.

### 5/5 — Rating

*2026-07-20, version 4.3.2*

It’s totally free and it’s for awesome people

### 5/5 — Just try and you’ll see!

*2026-07-20, version 4.3.2*

I see the great potential of impact this app can have on various aspects of my life and can see it being actualised through consistent use. Thank you and keep up the great work.

### 5/5 — Great!

*2026-07-18, version 4.3.2*

It’s helped me detect my filler words and think through the structure. I love it!

### 2/5 — another bs subscription app.

*2026-07-17, version 4.3.2*

dude is it just me or is anyone else so tired of every single app making you spend 8+ dollars a month on their program? genuinley its a plague where every single app on the app store (exept games) require somewhere around 15 dollars a month to use. and even games have subscriptions for no ads!! i am so tired of it. i am constantly having to unsubscribe to one and subscribe to another app's subscription because i am not a millionare. i wish for once i could just use an app that didnt have to shove a paywall in my face to use. perhaps im being vitriolic, but im genuinely so tired of this subscription epidemic. i think the only app i have on my phone that doesnt shove a subscription in your face is "real" app. and that one has a subscription too, but atleast for now it is more free then not. im sory, but i will write a 1 star reveiw. not because ts app is bad, but just because im tired. actually im biased but im not thatt biased i will do 2 stars. do better app creators.

### 2/5 — How much?

*2026-07-16, version 4.3.2*

I dislike apps that approach with a free trial…are you sure…. Are you really sure…. Really, really sure…without giving a price. I don’t go to the end.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Don’t waste your money please!

*2026-09-01, version 4.3.7*

Ai voice is terrible! Needs working on! Rather do interview prep in chatgpt

### 1/5 — Didnt let me Cancel

*2026-08-28, version 4.3.7*

It did not let me cancel within the 1 week free trial and I was charged for a full year. Customer support is unresponsive

### 1/5 — This is not a free app

*2026-08-14, version 4.3.4*

There is a 7 day free trial which you need to enter your credit card details

### 1/5 — Not my favorite

*2026-08-04, version 4.3.3*

I don’t like how this kid is always the same. I got the same scenario, the same phrases to no response.

### 1/5 — Stupid onboarding

*2026-08-02, version 4.3.3*

Typical app that asks tons of questions to « personalize » your experience before showing you any content. Deleted before getting to any lessons.

### 1/5 — Not free

*2026-07-17, version 4.3.2*

10 minutes of questions only to learn it’s a free trial. State that upfront and don’t waste my time

### 1/5 — Scam structure, didn’t reveal the cost of the services until very end

*2026-07-11, version 4.3.1*

I absolutely cannot stand when apps take the consumer through several long steps of set up and profile building just to reveal that there is no free option in order to use the app. It is not hard to put the cost of the app right in the App Store instead of scamming people into making an account when they didn’t even know the cost! Very annoying, 1 star

### 1/5 — Fake free trial

*2026-07-09, version 4.3.1*

The app offered me a second 7day free trial. I went along with it, and was charged the full year. Apple has refused to refund me. I feel scammed :(

### 1/5 — Long setup just for paywall.

*2026-07-06, version 4.3.0*

Just tried out the app, it gave me a long setup process just to give me a trial paywall. Not free at all.

### 1/5 — Data

*2026-07-03, version 4.3.0*

It should tell the price plan 1st. then, If people happy they will give their personal information to plan the personalise training.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — It’s actually really good and effective

*2026-09-02, version 4.3.7*

When I thought of downloading it first, I didn’t see reviews from a bigger crowd, and made me think it wouldn’t be as effective, but using it for a week, I’m totally hooked. It’s actually a much better teacher than what I was looking for. I’d say, download it, and give it a shot with their trial offer.

### 5/5 — Excited

*2026-08-31, version 4.3.7*

Excellent

### 5/5 — Life changing

*2026-08-30, version 4.3.7*

This has helped articulate ideas and thoughts more clearly and effectively

### 5/5 — So good

*2026-08-28, version 4.3.7*

I’m in 7-day trial and this app is so good for improving communication skills. It’s not about English pronunciation or grammar, but it teach you how to be a great speaker in life, like telling story, make ppl care, and I believe it will be helpful for my career. Sometimes we thought we have enough technical knowledge at work, but it’s our communication skills that holding us back.

### 5/5 — Articulation

*2026-08-21, version 4.3.5*

Very nice. I’m enjoying it.

### 5/5 — It works!

*2026-08-17, version 4.3.4*

Really enjoying this! The feedback is great and I really like the way the exercises are structured.

### 5/5 — The closest you can get to effective speech training with an app

*2026-08-11, version 4.3.3*

I tried Speeko before using this app. I found Speeko to be really good at giving feedback but the drills on that app are not targeted to making you an effective speaker…they can make you a clean speaker but not “effective”. IMO effectiveness really comes down to articulation and it takes a lot of real world intentional practice and experience. Very hard to achieve that through an app.
Well spoken gets you a step closer and covers some aspects of training articulation through its drills. I think the structure and forms explained in that app, if practiced consistently, can get you closer to becoming that person who “wings it” in their presentation and yet nails it every time.

### 5/5 — Builds Confidence in Communication

*2026-08-08, version 4.3.3*

I’ve really enjoyed using this app and have found it genuinely helpful for improving my articulation and communication skills. The exercises are practical, easy to follow, and can be tailored to situations you have coming up, which makes them feel relevant and useful rather than generic.

It’s helped me express my thoughts more clearly, become more aware of how I communicate, and feel more confident when speaking, both socially and professionally.

Some of the exercises can push you outside your comfort zone, but in a good way. What I’ve really appreciated is that you can take things at your own pace and build your confidence gradually. If you’re willing to be a little brave and give it a go, there’s a lot you can get out of it.

I’d definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to become a clearer and more confident communicator.

### 5/5 — Must get this app

*2026-08-06, version 4.3.3*

I love ittt

### 5/5 — Just what I need

*2026-08-04, version 4.3.3*

A great app to help you improve one of the most important skills. I’m on the free version and it’s still helping me a lot. I do as session of a course every day, and do the random topic drill every so often. The course is informative, makes you think about the core of communication, and it’s easy to go through. Really recommend if you want to improve your articulation! The founder Liam is great and really cares about user experiencing.
