She did not listen to what I was saying and then documented my symptoms and our conversation incorrectly. They closed the visit and advised I would have to pay for a whole new visit to be see since I accidentally typed in the wrong number. ### 1/5 — Physician that would not listen *2022-02-27, version 2.9.1* It was disheartening to hear that a physician that called me refused to listen or look at my sons past history when making recommendations. Everything was over the counter and after explaining he gets bronchitis and it won’t go away until I take him to the hospital if he doesn’t have an antibiotic she stated “well you should take him to the hospital then because I’m not prescribing that”. I have never been discredited as a mother when discussing my sons Heath. We have used WellVia before and every time got what we needed and he was good to go but this time was not the case. It’s sad my insurance pays 100% for us to use when it’s not beneficial for families. We ended up doing his Kelsey seybold doctor and getting what we needed, but it was not the experience we have had in previous years and the physicians were not well trained in customer service or how to care with compassion and listen to parents when they know their children’s history. ### 2/5 — WellVia is great doc not so much *2022-01-30, version 2.9.1* It’s said when we have come to a time where the doctors will not listen to the patient. I have never been treated as rudely as I was on my last visit. Once I stated I had not been vaccinated his attitude completely changed. He didn’t listen when I would answer his questions and state I didn’t ask that my question was… and it was the same question and I did answer. He also did not pay attention to my chart to see what I was allergic to even after I stated some of the drugs I am allergic to I got the same response he asked the same question again ad then sent in a proscription I can’t take and when the pharmacy asked them to send something else they said they would and a day later there still hasn’t been something new sent. I wasn’t aware I needed to open the app at the appointment time. This should definitely be more clear when setting up the appointment. Sending push notifications from the app at the appointment time would also be very helpful and would probably cut down on the time your schedulers spend on the phone trying to sync doctors with patients. The design of the app is actually really pretty but the process for connecting with a doctor is garbage. Every time I’ve used the app I have waited at my appointment time for the app to send a push notification that my doctor is ready for my video call. Never a single notification at my appointment time. 15 to 20 minutes later I’ll finally get a non-video phone call. Talked to support and they suggested I log out and log back in again 5 minutes before each appointment. Really??!! Your whole business revolves around a mobile app that makes doctors appointments and it won’t notify me on my device when my appointment is ready? I’m supposed to know to log out and log in again? Get it together WellVia. ### 1/5 — App is flawed *2021-11-20, version 2.8.7* It does not allow you to upload pictures. And we have to login multiple times. It’s highly discouraging. ### 1/5 — Dissatisfied *2021-11-19, version 2.8.7* The main reason I signed up for WellVia was because I have a daughter in college and she doesn’t have a doctor there snd many of the urgent cares don’t take our insurance there. So today she called and explained her symptoms and over the counter meds she’s been taking that haven’t worked…and they told her to just continue that….unbelievable! I will be canceling WellVia as soon as I can. Very disappointed. I have a swollen tonsil and a sever cough and her recommendation was to gargle with salt water like what kind of google doctor is this. I could’ve made that suggestion myself. When do doctors not give a antibiotic for tonsillitis? I can barely swallow and the coughing makes my chest hurt. But her reply is salt water gargle and Flonase smh ### 1/5 — Visit *2022-11-12, version 3.1.8* I called into the WellVia app today and spoke to Dr Mary Clifton. I’ve had years of sinus infections and know my body. I had a viral infection a month ago and the drainage and infection resulted in a sinus infection after the virus cleared up. I do not have allergies. Dr Clifton did most of the talking and just told me to use salt water, otc meds, things like that. Things I’ve been using for a month with no result, sinuses are getting worse, not better. She did not really listen to me and I feel it was a waste of my time. When infection lingers for a month, it is time for an antibiotic. OTC meds are obviously not working. I called back around 9:30 no answer left my number to receive a callback because all representatives were currently busy , never received a callback . It is now 2:45 in the morning can’t sleep from sinus headaches stuffy nose etc taking more over the counter medicine that’s not helping this is my first time using this service and I’m highly disappointed I have no stars to give at all because I received No service ### 1/5 — Waste of money *2022-08-31, version 3.1.6* I have used WellVia 4 times. The first time the appointment was cancelled because they couldn’t find a doctor in my area but never notified me. The second and fourth time, I was “seen” by a pediatrician! I am 64 years !!! Every time I was told to use over the counter medication and I would get better in 7-10 days. The third doctor eventually called in a prescription, but didn’t bother to tell me. Each time I have ultimately had to go see my physician for antibiotics. The doctors I have interacted with seem to be bothered that they are having to deal with me and won’t listen to the fact that I know shaft is going on with my body. I know when I have a sinus infection and bronchitis! I used the service because I have felt to bad to go to the doctor and the service is provided by my employer, but it is a waste of time and money! ### 1/5 — This Service is horrible *2022-08-28, version 3.1.6* My company switched to WellVia from medlive and we have had nothing but trouble with it. My wife called for the first time yesterday and when the doctor called her back he was driving down the road with his windows open then he just hung up. When we did get ahold of someone else they talked to my wife like she was an idiot. My son has been waiting to the doctor to call for over an hour they it texts and said the first call was missed , his phone never rang. So I’ll not be using this anymore and I’ll let my HR know that just because it’s cheaper doesn’t mean better ### 1/5 — Worthless *2022-08-17, version 3.1.6* Called with COVID-19 positive test. Asked for antiviral. While pharmacists are able to Apple criteria for prescription, the DOCTOR at WellVia was unable to do the same application of criteria. This was my second, and last attempt to use WellVia. I love not having to go to an urgent care facility for stomach bugs, ear infections, UTI etc. Always receive top notch virtual care.
