Welsh for Beginners is a learning tool to begin or enhance your Welsh vocabulary on the go. The national anthem audio file will help you sing along and learn ‘Mae Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau’ in the simplest way possible. 

The app has information on learning groups around the South Wales area focusing on the South Welsh dialect.

From learning how to introduce yourself and talking about your life to counting, days of the week, weather, colours and pronunciation, Welsh for Beginners has it all with audio for you to hear the Welsh dialect.

Learning Welsh and this app is awesome! Phrases and the national anthem both sung and written. Recommend for anyone who wants to learn Welsh.

Not worth 15p let alone £1.49!  Almost no content, few useful phrases and I can't even order a beer as they missed out that word!

I wouldn't call these Welsh lessons - it's more of a talking phrase book and very limited at that. For the price I've purchased far more comprehensive resources for other languages. 

However Welsh is less popular so it's reasonable to pay a little more. Being able to endlessly repeat these very short phrases is certainly drilling Welsh sounds into my head although I don't feel I'll have learnt much by the time I finish with this app.

Great app for introducing the welsh language. It's so easy and intuitive to use, unlike some other apps on the market! 
I love that it includes audio to help with pronunciation rather than relying on text alone. 
Never again will I be embarrassed by not knowing how to sing the national anthem! :)
