Also known as 18 times as much. 10x wouldn't have been good enough, they needed 18x. And they can charge 18x because what am I gonna do about it, buy a printer?? First, the pricing like everyone else said is very expensive. Second of all, I attempted to print out my Google slides, but despite adjusting the landscape setting, the pages always came flipped on the short side making the pages unusable. I checked all the settings but found no option to change this. Why this is the default unchangeable option is beyond me, since this format is incompatible with stapling pages together or creating mini booklets, and is generally inconvenient to read when trying to keep your pages in an organized format. (Unless you’re stapling from the top, but personally I find that pretty cursed). I’m writing this one because this app is genuinely so horribly designed it actually makes me mad every time I use it. The app is so clunky to actually use to print things on, works terribly both in the app and on the printer itself. ### 1/5 — Not easy of convenient *2026-05-12, version 1.53* I had to use wepa print today and I was unable to print my document. I arrived at the on campus library 30 minutes before my class; that should be enough time to print my document, right? For some reason I could not find my document even though I had saved it multiple times in Google drive and in my iPhone “files”. After a frustrating 15 minutes, I received assistance from the library staff in my efforts to print but not even they could figure out what was wrong with the Wepa app. Mind you, they have used this app to print every document for the whole semester in the library so they are experts in navigating the app. So truly it was a “glitch” in the system and I was unable to print my document. Judging by the countless one star reviews I am not the only one who has had problems with this app and it’s something that should be taken more seriously. If I wasn’t able to go to my other professor and have him do me a solid and print the documents for me I would have gotten a zero on a project that I worked so hard on. That would’ve tanked my grade and I would have to retake the class. I expect to pay with my credit card, or apple pay, whatever may be. Unfortunately, it’s “load your balance with a minimum of $5 on Wepa” or pay an extra 50 cent fee to use a card…. On top of the extra 5 min it takes for the printer to load, to log in, to accept payment, etc.. But after I used it once, my experience was great. It was easy to upload the documents I needed to print urgently onto the cloud, and I LOVE the rocket printing option which makes the process so much faster. Just scanning the NFC tag automatically starts the printing process when I’m at a machine. I honestly think the reason why the ratings are so low is because people only tend to leave reviews when they encounter issues, whereas 80-90% of people that have a smooth experience don’t bother as the app is just functioning as promised. Nonetheless, do not get intimidated by the low rating, the UI of the app was very user friendly and the process is super efficient! ### 5/5 — Works well *2021-08-31* I was able to use Apple Pay and load my documents in lees than a minute. It was great! Fantastic choice if your campus offers this service. Simply familiarize yourself with the printing system and the app before you actually try to print something and there will not be a problem.
