### 5/5 — Perfect approach

*2022-05-04, version 1.7.0*

I really love this app ! I was wondering if you plan to update it, to add more workout ?
Thanks!

### 5/5 — Get Strong 16 Week Program In The App

*2021-02-01, version 1.7.0*

I’m a fan of Convict Conditioning so this is great! I was just wondering if you can include Al’s Get Strong 16 week program in the app? Thanks in advance.

### 5/5 — More than just a workout

*2021-01-27, version 1.7.0*

Al is one amazing resource for health and fitness and this app is an extension of all of knowledge. Workouts for any level and little to no equipment. Couple that with the articles and it’s a one stop shop. Worth the cost!

### 5/5 — It’s perfect dip in and out, as and when. Relaxed but motivating. Got to love Al👍🏻💪🏻

### 4/5 — Hi

*2020-12-08, version 1.7.0*

This app would be great if you could edit workouts

### 5/5 — Good app, lots of workouts

*2020-07-19, version 1.7.0*

I’m enjoying the app. I like the animations used to explain an exercise. WAY better than other workout apps where you have to wait for a video to load. The only thing I wish this app had, is a little more guidance. It’s more of a “pick a random workout” than an actual routine. Still, all-in-all a very well put together workout app.

### 5/5 — Awesome and Effective AF

*2020-06-04, version 1.7.0*

So I hoard workout apps, always looking for the next best thing. This app surprised the heck out of me, it’s so simple but super effective. I’m literally dripping sweat on my iPad as I write this. Highly recommended. There’s free exercises but I saw the work and paid the 6 bucks for premium access, it’s worth it imho.

### 5/5 — Hands down best on the market!

*2020-05-04, version 1.7.0*

As an ex gymnast and instructor I am well versed in body weight exercises and this collection of exercises and progressions are fantastic and well thought through. The app is very very user friendly and easy to move through. It’s also excellent in providing examples and proof that equipment isn’t always a MUST. I’ll use this for years to come I love it!

### 4/5 — Great app. Missing one thing

*2020-04-28, version 1.7.0*

I love this app. It provides challenging workouts that are fun and progressive. It is missing one feature that would get 5 stars from me. If you could put several workouts in almost a playlist. Allowing the option to put a minute or 2 in between the workouts would be even better so I can jump rope in between the workouts. Keep up the great work.

### 5/5 — Love it! Best app

*2020-04-17*

Such a cool app. One thing that could be good tho is like a random exercise generator from the bank.

### 5/5 — Great application & Customer Service

*2020-04-01, version 1.7.0*

I’ve been using the app a few weeks now. The interface is clean and simple, while having lots of features, excercises and workouts. Really enjoy the top notch animations and guided program features. Recently I switched from android to iOS and after contacting the Developer of the application they helped me make the switch. Fantastic application and customer service. Thank you, Peter!

### 5/5 — Awesome app

*2020-02-10, version 1.7.0*

The one off price is excellent value but so is the monthly option and it allows you to continue supporting the development of this app!

I went for the one off but I’d also happily pay an annual subscription for ongoing development $3 per year as an option?

Only improvement I’d like to see so far is in the activity section where it shows your weekly activity. At the start of each week it appears to reset to zero effectively. I’d rather see a past 30 day view so I can keep my streak going or see that I’ve completed 25 out of 30 days to improve on the 22 out of 30 it was previously for example.

Great app, please keep supporting it and add an option for those of us who can to make a small contribution to it (I went for the full price so that I’ll always have access but would pay a little to keep the app updated and new features added.

### 5/5 — Awesome!

*2019-12-29, version 1.7.0*

This is an awesome app! I’m able to do all I need to get a good workout through it. It would be awesome if they would add new workouts every once in a while and if they made an Apple Watch app for this

### 5/5 — Best Workout App

*2019-11-29, version 1.7.0*

What I like most about this app is the Abdominal Workout section. It’s separated in three levels. They are beginner, washboard, and Ultimate abs levels . ( I do this workout at the end- very effective!). 101 Workouts section is also another gem. If you cannot do pistol squats, muscle ups, and or pull ups-This section has a remedy! And finally the Zero Equipment Section, just follow the workouts and move through each level of difficulty and bam!! You are going to change your body. The app also includes Daily routines, 5x5 workouts, Fun workouts, 100 reps workouts, warm ups, assessments and human flag training. The application also has an exercise library that explains how to execute each move and of course, you’ll get pushed through your workout by Al. Now for the negative ( only 2 things ) of this app, well only one negative. (1) this app will not tell you where to start. Because each section has a certain goal. You just have to pick one section and follow through each workout (2) pay attention to the color next to each workout within each section . You can find this info in the assessment section. Blue for Novice, Green for beginner, Yellow for intermediate, Orange for advance, and red for elite. So what I do to remedy these 2 issues, (1) remedy is to start with warmup section first, then assessment section( if your new and want a starting point, revisit this section to gauge your fitness level), zero equipment section is the best place to get a foundational strength. And then you can venture out to the other section for variety. (2) remedy is to pay attention to the color designation to each workout within each section. Each section will have a workout list that is color designated- they are accurate accordingly to difficulty. Otherwise , this application and information is worth your time and money!

### 5/5 — Excellent app

*2019-11-27, version 1.7.0*

This app is just nothing short of amazing. Love the animations. My only request to the developer is if this app could be developed for the Apple Watch, then it would be perfect.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Ripped off

*2023-02-21, version 1.7.0*

I cancelled my subscription two weeks prior to renewal, and was charged again.

### 2/5 — Hasn’t been updated in two years.

*2021-02-16, version 1.7.0*

This app seems to be great in content but not product support with over 2 years since the last update. It’s my bad for not reading the App Store better. Also, no way to turn off sound during a workout meaning you can’t listen to music or podcasts at the same time because you hear “Hey hey hey” every few seconds. If they could implement a mute feature that would be spectacular, but with no updates in 2 years it probably won’t happen..

### 2/5 — Needs customizable workouts

*2020-04-14, version 1.7.0*

Overall app is great but needs to allow user to create there own customizable workout

### 2/5 — Disappointed - Cannot customize your own workouts

*2018-02-22, version 1.7.0*

All the workouts offered are limited, approximately 4-7 exercises to a routine.
I had hoped to hand select my favorite exercises (more than 7) and arrange them as I pleased in an overall workout, as with other apps. This inability to customize makes this app useless to me. I’m glad I paid fo a month and not a year. I hope the developer puts a little more work into this product. As it stands, it’s bare bone basic. With further development, it could be pretty good.

### 3/5 — The app not working now

*2023-09-17, version 1.8.1*

The app was working very well
But this week is not working and i a upgrade my iPhone to last 16.6.1 and still not working
I have i phone 12 pro max
I hope the problem fix very soon

### 3/5 — App crashing

*2019-12-20, version 1.7.0*

Workouts are great, but the app crashes at the end of every workout

### 3/5 — Like the app

*2019-04-11, version 1.7.0*

Good resource, but it would be nice to have a wider variety of workouts included

### 3/5 — Potentially brilliant but keeps crashing!

*2018-08-27, version 1.7.0*

I really want to use this app but it crashes at the end of every workout, meaning I have to start again each time to do more than 1 circuit. Please help! I’ve tried uninstalling and downloading again but nothing seems to help. Appears to hate my health app!

### 3/5 — Meh.

*2018-07-06, version 1.7.0*

Cool application. But over half the stuff costs money. Look over it BEFORE you want to work out. 🙄

### 3/5 — Just one more thing.

*2018-03-14, version 1.7.0*

If I could add my extra exercises to the activity log, that would be a nice feature.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2026-07-11, version 1.8.1*

This is a really easy app to follow thanks Al!!

### 5/5 — Always there for you, no matter your starting point

*2026-01-18, version 1.8.1*

Hey, hey, hey! I’ve been using this app for years. Not always as consistently as I should, but now that I find myself a single father of two young boys, getting to a gym is much less of an option for me. So like always Al and his app are there for me. It’s a great app, simple and effective, with nice touches, like a count down timer for holds and hearing Al say “Hey, Hey, Hey, we’re working out.” lets me know it’s go time, almost a Pavlovian response by now.

Thanks Al for always being there for me through the years. Hope you’re doing good, wishing you peace and love brother.

### 5/5 — Best Workout App

### 5/5 — Fantastic App

*2025-02-06, version 1.8.1*

I never write reviews or rate apps. But this app is outstanding. For only $7 you can have unlimited premium access. It walks you through all stages of calisthenics from beginner to advanced. The app is responsive, easy to follow, motivating, and tracks your workouts. There are plenty of routines to switch things up. And it really works. I feel sore after completing a circuit and can see progress every day. I cannot recommend it enough.

### 5/5 — Exceptionally underrated app

*2024-10-06, version 1.8.1*

This is a very impressive way to enter the world of cathesthenics. I highly recommend it due to the ‘gates’ that you have to pass to get to the next level. This is great!

### 5/5 — Want More

*2024-03-22, version 1.8.1*

Love this app! It is well done and polished! I would ask Al and the developer to incorporate more progressions specific workouts! I love the abs and appreciate this extended to bridges, pushups….

Oh, and can’t beat the price for the amount of content and functionality. This app is actually priced way to low!

### 5/5 — This app is working out!!

*2023-02-26, version 1.7.0*

Great app! Easy to use, fun, and engaging.

Not to mention, Al is 10 out of 10 in the great human being scale. Awesome dude and is always willing to take some time to answer any questions for self improvement.

100% recommended!

### 5/5 — Great App!

*2023-01-19, version 1.7.0*

I love this app! It’s real handy to have all of these workouts in such a simple format. The animated examples are great too!

### 5/5 — Great app, great value!

*2022-09-27, version 1.7.0*

Great app. Easy to use and clear instructions. Only problem is I’ve found upon completion of a workout the app closes so I have to reopen and find the workout again to do the next set. A little bit of a frustrating bug to an otherwise great app. Please look into it. Thanks 😊

### 5/5 — Get started… again and again. 💪

*2022-08-15*

I’ve had this app off and on now for years. No subscription ❤️, most exercises need no equipment, and others can be modified or done with very minimal equipment, and their are options for everyone. Very un-intimidating and fun way to start working out. I’m surprised this app is not more popular.
