So if I want to actually buy anything I have to go through the same list of 12 old products I have already removed 50 times prior. Even things I’ve actually purchased. I’ve deleted and reinstalled app, signed out - on the web and app. Nothing works. ### 2/5 — App only slightly less annoying than the website *2026-07-10, version 16.8.1* Ordering from any Pottery Barn store is a nightmare because of their website and app performance, especially on Apple devices. Good quality. Gave 4 stars because some of the pictures on the website do not display the item in enough detail. There are several pictures but at odd angles and some are too detailed and several are of the whole bathroom but not if the rig. I just purchased bath rugs but was not completely satisfied with the pictures. Privacy vampires. *2026-02-23, version 15.19.1* Over 4 months ago, I initiated an account deletion through this app (AND their other property, Williams-Sonoma) that has not yet been fulfilled. Repeated attempts only indicate that I’ll receive an email once the deletion is complete. It, of course, is never complete. This is unconscionable. This is a simple action to take, but one that they apparently are refusing to do. So I’ve taken two small steps to strip them of their power over my data. 1.) I anonymized my personal data. 2.) The current room-scan tool is a nice idea, but without true AR placement, it doesn’t add much real value. I even tried asking the in-app AI whether the AR feature still exists, and it couldn’t answer a simple yes/no question. It routed me to customer support, which then said representatives were too busy. At that point, the app feels like little more than a wrapper for the website. If the AR feature was discontinued, it would be great to have some clarity on that. And honestly, bringing back full AR placement would make the app far more useful. ### 1/5 — No opt out *2025-11-02, version 15.18.0* When you place an order, there's no option to opt out of promotional emails. Just a warning to unsubscribe later. Additionally, it kept stating that different payment methods are broken. It would say I could ship to a store, but then at the payment, it says the item has to be delivered with white glove service. (just a fireplace screen, I don't need setup).
