Perhaps that was due to being blind in one eye and aging. Deleted app! ### 1/5 — Absolutely Abysmal *2025-07-30, version 4.18.2* Bare minimum functionality and horrible design. Can’t say I expect much better though when governments go with the lowest bidders for this type of work. At least give us actual Apple Wallet IDs. It takes photos of your ID without you actually being able to focus them even if you get past the stage of capturing your ID card or drivers license it doesn’t like your beard so the facial recognition that it has for scanning your face does not work. It says get closer then blur detected. This time around, it worked flawlessly. This is a huge improvement and the reason I chose to leave feedback. Whatever was done with the app solved the existing problems. I’ve been wondering when they would come out with something like this. It would be nice if you could add it to apple wallet but maybe later on down the road that’ll happen. It was very easy to setup and get working. It’s very nice to have it on my phone in case I ever forget my wallet at home and I would get pulled over or just need my ID in general it’s nice to know I have it digitally on my phone. The only question is when will you be able to add your WV ID to the iPhone wallet? When I had my iphone SE 2nd gen, I never ran into this glitch before. Now it works great. Why it won’t link to Apple wallet is, I’m sure, in process. The apple wallet feature is something Apple has to add. When they add WV licenses to iOS this will be fixed. That would be a great addition to the app so that you could easily share your Mobile ID right from your Wallet app. ### 3/5 — Works *2024-12-27, version 4.17.3* It works ok. Set up is a little confusing with how it wants to take a picture of your face. It would be better if age or date of birth was on main screen so that age verification was faster.
