I have a keyboard case and it is annoying to have to fold back the keyboard and rotate to portrait mode to use the iPad app. It it unbelievable that the UI/UX designers for this app designed the app this way.. or allowed it to be released this way. This is a great way to know if the book you are looking for is carried at a certain branch. Also great because I never need to carry my library card! ### 5/5 — Easy to use *2019-03-28, version 1.0.4* I was able to download the app, search for the book I wanted and place a hold within a few minutes. When I tried to place a hold, I was given the option to add my library card to my account. So easy! Can’t wait for my book to arrive to my local branch! ### 3/5 — Reinstall to fix problem *2024-08-04* As the WLS website says, the problem with the app failing to open can be fixed by deleting and reinstalling it ### 3/5 — Add some features to make this great *2020-09-23, version 1.0.11* This app serves its purpose of placing items on hold, renewing materials and searching for items. One continuously frustrating aspect is when I look at my holds or items checked out it’s impossible to tell if it’s the book, audiobook, DVD, blue ray or other version of that title. I often check out the book and audiobook simultaneously and the app only shows the titles. This is especially difficult because I wouldn’t know which item is due when without this detail. It completely defeats the purpose of the app. Pls add that feature so patrons can better track their items. ### 3/5 — Library Card to Apple Wallet? *2019-12-30, version 1.0.6* It would great if after setting up your account and having your library card displayed on this app, you could then “add” it to Apple Wallet like airline boarding passes and other loyalty cards. ### 2/5 — App keeps crashing too *2024-07-25* I have come to depend on the WLS app, but it continues to crash. I opened it at the library and navigated to my digital library card but when I went to scan my card the app just quit. Since then it won’t stay open. I am running the latest update on my iPhone and I have tried all the usual troubleshooting (restart phone, delete and reload app, etc. ) but to no avail. To make matters worse, I am unable to contact the developer.
