### 4/5 — One of very few

*2026-08-29*

Finally a Western (not American)mahjong game!
Would be good if it marked who is East (for collecting ‘your winds’)

### 5/5 — Just what I was looking for

*2026-05-06*

I’ve only just started playing mahjong and am totally hooked. I went looking for an actual western mahjong game app to practice and develop my skills, but couldn’t find one. It wasn’t until I read in a FB mahjong group that someone in Western Australia had released one a few months ago, that I had enough clues to track it down in the long list of all the mahjong tile games.

The user interface isn’t fancy but easy to understand how to use, and the tiles are delightfully Australian. Even some flying quokkas when you win a hand!

With 30 or so hands to choose from, this will help both new and experienced players get their mahjong fix.

It’s well worth the price to get an app that doesn’t require a subscription, that doesn’t annoy the user with ads, is downloaded to your device, and where no internet is required to play.

Thanks StarkB for developing this real mahjong app. It’s improved my game already!

### 5/5 — Unique

*2026-02-26*

I play & teach a lot of Mahjong both socially & on Apps and different variants. This is the only Western Mahjong App I have found. I often get my students to practice online via apps with Bots so this is perfect. I believe you can play off grid. I would love to see in the future a slow or learning mode so new students can have time to make their decisions without pressure to decide to chow, pung or Kong. Also not sure if it allows robbing of a Kong like Hong Kong Mahjong Apps? But well worth the cost for a Western Mahjong practice. And no subscriptions, only a one off cost.
