Your information is not secure. Passwords get leaked easily on their website. My account was hacked and scammer transferred $1980 in their bank account by editing the banking information of one of my receivers. Now western union is not helping me get that money back, only gave me case number and telling me to call your bank. Please do not save your banking details or debit/credit card in the app. You will never know when your money is gone without even touching the app. ### 1/5 — Bad experience *2026-06-11, version 11.5* This app need to be upgraded for receiving money as well because we can send from our card. We should receive the money in our card as well. It’s not we have to go and deal with employees that has zero experience with Western Union. It will be very easy for your customer the same way they can collect their money in the court the way if you’re getting the commission, you should be able to provide the best service ### 1/5 — Its scam *2026-05-25, version 11.4* I would recommend people to use alternative app to transfer money because: western union hold my money saying they had system error and so one week of " your money on its way" than following week "it was cancelled by our system error" so refund in progress not sure when i get it, than again sent it and wait for a week.
