Mobile deposit is such a pain in the backside now. Used to be you could just snap a picture of the front and back of a check and you were good to go. Now, getting the auto cropping and alignment of the image to agree to let you shoot the picture is a real tedious chore. Once you get everything lined up and the “tap to capture” green light is displayed, you tap the screen and you’re most often rewarded with an error and have to start the process all over. Other times the app asks you to rotate your device into landscape mode even if it is already and refuses to recognize that. You should find a different way to make sure the operation be successful even if you have to call the customer or create a 2AF, or whatever but it’s really upset to make a call every time.
