WestStar continues to send me a late notice despite no payment has been late. This is a ridiculous policy. The company sends out countless mail costing the company(ultimately customers) money. Also, it is a continual bother tempting me to immediately trash all WestStar mail!! ### 2/5 — Extremely buggy *2026-04-03, version 9.2.6* Seems like the app has good days and bad days. My payment had yet to be in auto pay. This has caused miss payments and massive frustrations. ### 1/5 — Partial payments *2024-03-07, version 7.2.6* No way to post partial payments towards your full payment for the cycles. Only allows to post additional principal and additional escrow if you wish to pay ahead. I am now being charged a late payment because of this. I am not sure why it was declined because the money was in the account! I called and left a voicemail and I haven’t received a response. I noticed from my bank statement and went in to pay, but the app wasn’t working and wouldn’t let me update my payment info. I attempted to call to find out what was going on but could not reach anyone once I FINALLY found a number. By the end of the month, the app finally let me update my bank info and I went in and found that I was charged a late fee. I did not want the fee to start accruing interest, so I was going to pay int an have it removed once I got ahold of someone. Though there was a box for me to check to pay it, I couldn’t check the box to pay it! I also pay more on my mortgage than the set amount and I could not change the amount. I could pay double if I wanted, but I don’t pay that much more. This app is trash and needs revamping. Just like the website, it is not user friendly. ### 1/5 — Terrible Institution process of the app *2023-10-28, version 7.2.6* We received a notice that Weststar had an app but I didn’t think much about it because I had an account set up on the website and for the last three years and six months all of my mortgage payments had been made through the e-express automatic online bill paying service. Weststar did not use this service for our October payment nor was I notified that it would not be used. We received a letter saying our October payment had not been received and as I was looking into this and signing into my online account, I got a message that said I no longer had an account. I am very upset because the poor communication on the part of Weststar caused my payment to be late. We have had NO late payments on our credit history for well over 6-8 years or even longer. I have password saved in my phone, however, they show incorrect password messages every time I tried to login. You can set a new password every month. Worst system I have ever seen.
