How is it possible that the audio quality is always lower than other stations, even on other platforms. Is there a lower quality standard? As far as presenting information on the station’s various shows, the app does so. However, whenever I click off the home screen of the app, it loads up a slow web browser experience. I hope that the team at Classical WETA responsible for this app can make their app more app-like in future releases. Whatever the outcome, I will still be listening! ### 3/5 — So-so *2018-10-08* It comes up quickly which is good. But the playlist starts at 12:00 AM. I go to WETA, usually in the evening, to learn what is playing now and to learn what is coming the rest of the evening. I don’t want to have to scroll the playlist from early morning through all the day to get to what is coming next. The online website is better. Also the app lists the current musical item and the playlist box in small, small letters. They are almost lost among all the advertised items on the screen. I am less interested in those ads. For all these reasons, I don’t use this app. ### 3/5 — Program info ends at midnight! *2018-08-22* I got this app for two reasons: to see what is playing now on WETA FM; and to see what is coming up to be played. Unfortunately, the program schedule they provide is not 24 hours, it’s for a calendar day. Regardless of when you check the app, you get program info only for the present time through 12 midnight. Since I usually tune in at 11:30 pm, that means I have no idea what’s going to be played for most of my listening time.
