I am so irritated with this process. It took over an hour for Printemps to print an invoice to vatcat, they were very hesitant to do this and said they needed something like a purchase order, and when they finally did they printed it on two pages on both sides of the same sheet and I cannot get them side by side. I need to rush to dinner now and have wasted two hours on this. Why can’t your app do this. I’m trying to download a third party app to merge the photos but the roaming data is so slow. Next time I am going back to the traditional process. The extra time doing this is not worth it. ### 2/5 — Wish I would have checked for alternatives... *2024-09-22, version 7.1.18* Read about this app online and didn't realise there were plenty of similar alternatives. The app is quite buggy, e.g. it showed me an incorrect refund amount (based on the lower "express refund") percentage. Instructions on the website are also unclear, e.g. the website mentions that online shopping receipts should be forwarded when according to support they still need to be uploaded in the app. This would all be fine but unfortunately the support is very slow and arrogant - it took a day and 3 follow-ups from my side before they confirmed that the app is showing incorrect refund amounts, after initially assuming I misunderstood the refund percentages. Going forward I will be trying alternative apps (e.g. skiptax or zapptax), which seem to offer much faster refund timeline and lower fees. ### 3/5 — Good in concept but flawed execution *2023-12-06, version 7.1.11* I love the concept - with slightly better rates than the major players and ability to online shop/smaller basket sizes. You should try it!!! ### 5/5 — Easiest tax refund process! *2023-08-07, version 7.1.8* Thanks to Wevat I saved significantly on a special bag I bought myself on holiday. It was a really easy process from start to end - download the app, go through the steps and make sure your read all of their guidance before you actually go in the shop and pay for the product you’re planning to buy. From Uploading the invoice and then getting the refund back, it took around 2-3 days which is incredibly quick. You get two options - wait around 2-3 months for the full refund percentage or get a slightly reduced sum within 7 days which I went for.
