The app’s user interface is super intuitive, allowing me to seamlessly share my experiences with followers and keep track of what's happening around me. I also love the community aspect seeing what events others are attending gives inspiration for future anyone looking to get out. For anyone who loves staying in the loop about local events or sharing their experiences, WEVENT is a must-have. It’s definitely a game-changer for event enthusiasts like me! Connecting people building communities and social life. Instead of getting us hooked on an addictive slot machine (reels TikTok). Credit to the developers! Approaching this As a dj and promoter for events. There needs to be some form of ticketing platform but can’t become oversaturated with venues and events which confuses users. This is where other platforms like fatsoma fail since the promotion isn’t through their app. It’s through other apps like insta. To retain users to the app People need to trust the app and events. if you ensure there are a few official events in each city/location. It will funnel users to one specific event. And the promotion will stay within your ecosystem. I was using this app and someone told me to bring white flower to a party because I was under the age limit. Terrible people and if they are throwing parties that anyone they don’t know can come to, then you shouldn’t trust them. Stay safe, don’t do drugs and don’t get this app because these parties are just destined for disaster. The developers should be sued for inciting under age drinking and other crimes **Developer response:** Thank you for sharing your concerns. The UI is poorly done and there are not enough things to do in the app. ### 1/5 — Can’t sign up *2024-05-28* I would like to try the app if only I could make it past the sign in 💀 ### 2/5 — monitoring.. *2025-03-17* I saw another review hear expressing concern over children’s safety to which the developers replied and said they’re working on it (while also insisting that they have no legal bounds to anything happening), but I do not think this is the case at all. The global chat itself has people asking for fentanyl and advertising a secret gc to get fake IDs, and there doesn’t look like there’s any monitoring. Is it even legal to be running an app like this? It’s like a hub for teenagers to find out where the drugs/alcohol are at.
