Why? Why isn’t there a delete or clear button. There is no sense in all these alerts staying on my phone and in the app! What is the point? I read an alert, if I choose to keep it awhile longer. The majority of the time I delete them all. Please add a delete or clear button to get rid of the alerts. No sense whatsoever for there not to be a delete or clear button. If I find anything else that is irritating , I write again. Oh ya, the reviews on the app are years old! Get rid of them. They are no help for the updated app in 2026! Not liking the amount of info needed to do SIMPLE things. ### 2/5 — Mr *2026-06-11* What I find annoying is the pop-up ads that appear when you are trying to change articles or read an article and have to change pages or whatever and then it pops up and you gotta sit there and wait for it to disappear or click on it to read it. And my particular case of the roofing ad just does not do anything for me because I don’t need a new roof. I live in a condo unit and the condo takes care of the roof. The change over to the new format is a little disconcerting because you gotta find your way around. There’s no instructions to tell you where to look that can be very frustrating for those that are technologically challenged so in general not really happy with it the new format, my issues may seem minor to you but their major to me. Thanks for all the news that you put out there. Other news apps actually give you notifications that give you enough information to see if you want to read the whole story, not just click bait. I understand the need for advertising to help cover the cost of providing the service, but I have found channel 3‘s ads not only hijack your page, but sometimes makes it impossible to do anything without closing out the app altogether. This horrible update will force me to switch to another local news station. Invasive ads the moment you open the app. Huge turnoff. When trying to access it with my internet, I am receiving an error message saying it cannot access/locate internet. I have an iPhone and Frontier….checked my iPhone settings, modem and all other apps. Actually despite national choices I access WFSB first. Would like fewer “pop ups” and “advertorials” but “hey” you have to make a living. Keep up the New Haven area coverage so at least a modicum of hopeful reporting can work to offset Hartford’s struggles. Some political digging is not inexpensive but it restores your readers’ perception that not only cut and paste is at work. Keep up the good work! She brought a spark to Channel 3. However, that spark will forever shine bright. She made the station Glow. I have rated this station top 500 and will always be a star above other’s. I will miss Denise in the mornings but I will see her gleam through the other staff members. Therefore, l demand all of you step forward and keep marching forward, we all have a job to do! Overall very pleased. I’ve had a couple of occasions to contact WFSB 3 when the app’s had issues, and they’ve been right on it, and even responded to me. They just need to monitor it more frequently, or ask users to contact them. One major complaint though, and this is actually more about website...inability to comment on stories. Not liking that AT ALL!
