Quadrophonie für Arme halt… Das geht mit der App auch. Die Bedienung ist allerdings tiefste Steinzeit, man merkt halt, dass die Fagestellung für die meisten inzwischen überholt ist und die App nicht mehr weiterentwickelt wird. Dafür ist die App allerdings heute deutlich überteuert. ### 4/5 — Well pleased *2020-09-08* I’ve been looking for an app whereby I could control two airplay speakers without investing or setting up Airplay2. Des weiteren muss die App immer im Vordergrund sein, sonst kommt keine Musik mehr. Wenn die Programmier die Wünsche der Kunden beherzigen würden, würde ich auch 20€ zahlen! Das wäre immer noch billiger als ein Sonos Port oder andere zu kaufen, die die selben Funktionen erfüllen! ### 2/5 — App läuft nicht stabil *2018-10-21* Die App läuft seid Jahren leider nicht stabil. Abstürze gibt es regelmäßig wie zur Zeit beim Programmwechsel. Ab und zu lässt sich der Radiosender nicht starten. Zusätzlich benötigt man jetzt den V-Tuner, da das Internetradio nicht mehr unterstützt wird. Das sind extra Kosten. Fazit nach 3 Jahren: Das Programm ist leider mühselig. I am very happy that this app works magnificent with all my HomePod. I can stream my music to all of the them simultaneously. Great app!! (Since Apple has not released AirPlay 2) ### 4/5 — Endlich wieder vollständige Multiroom Funktionalität *2018-01-10* Seit neuestem Update ist wieder eine Verbindung zu AppleTV 4 oder neuer möglich. Somit können zumindest alle meine AirPlay fähigen Geräte wieder wunschgemäß angesteuert werden. Einziges Manko aus meiner Sicht, ist weiterhin die fehlende Spotify Verknüpfung. ### 3/5 — Almost! *2018-01-10* Have the app and spent additional $$ upgraded number speakers. But will not play DRM protected content (that you have already paid for). Ich habe die App immer wieder entfernt und neu installiert, aber es bewegt sich nichts. Es sollte schnellstens Abhilfe geschafft werden. ### 1/5 — Macht nur Probleme *2021-01-24* Mit der Zeit wurde die App immer schlechter. Bedienung kompliziert. Zusatzdienste kostenpflichtig. Nicht mal die eigene Musik kann synchron abgespielt werden. Und darum soll es ja gehen. Synchron auf Airplaygeräten zu spielen. Doch genau das funktioniert seit Jahren nicht mehr. ### 1/5 — Nutzlos *2020-06-14* Die App sieht gut aus, spielt aber meine iTunes Musik nicht direkt ab, sondern verbindet nur mit iTunes. Verbindung bricht ab und läßt sich er nach einem Neustart der App wieder verbinden, nach ein paar Minuten ist aber wieder Schluss. Nur Ärger und viel Geld für nichts Danke ### 1/5 — Useless *2019-06-02, version 1.10.8* Useless. Bugged to hell. Can’t play anything. Can’t play Apple Music. Can’t detect devices properly. Doesn’t seem to work in any way. I’m blown away by all these great reviews. Presumably fake ones. Would like my money back :( ### 1/5 — Rip off *2018-09-09, version 1.10.6* Crap. The trial version lets you play anything, then you buy it and it informs you that you cannot play apple music. I want my money back please. ### 1/5 — Disappointing *2018-03-17, version 1.10.5* Probably should have read more of the info before parting with $9.99 as I subsequently found that this app will not play any of my Apple Music library whether it's Cloud or on my device. Even music that is stored on my device will not play despite what the pop up help says. Everything that can be played (apart from Apple Music) requires additional $$$$. I was probably overly anxious to get my two Homepod's working in stereo to read what the app could or couldn't do so that's my mistake. There are some samples that can play included in the app but that's not what I wanted. So unless you are happy with listening to obscure internet radio stations (which also require more money to work), you will not get Apple Music, Amazon Music, Spotify etc, etc. Shame as this app has potential but is severely limited. ### 1/5 — Disappointed. *2018-02-25, version 1.10.5* I can’t steam half of my music, because of the Apple restrictions this app was supposed to give me a solution for. I also can’t stream Spotify! You can find out about all of the restrictions, after you bought the app. Not cool! I’ve asked for a refund. This app doesn’t deliver anything new and isn’t worth a tenner... ### 1/5 — Simply does not work *2017-12-16, version 1.10.1* Can’t play anything from iTunes, Spotify of Apple Music... what’s the point? Waste of money and will be applying for a refund! ### 1/5 — Keine Unterstützung für Spotify *2017-11-16* 11€ gezahlt um dann festzustellen das Spotify nicht funktioniert. Man soll wiederum einen kostenpflichtigen Plugin kaufen wo nicht sichergestellt wird das es problemlos funktioniert. Wenn Spotify unterstützt würde gäbe es wohl Sterne von mir. Nach den letzten Updates auch absolut stabil. Trotz Airplay 2 – welches von vieler Musikhardware noch nicht unterstützt wird, ein Must have für Multiroomsysteme. ### 5/5 — Tolle Lösung *2021-05-16* Wie großartig ist das denn? Multiroom ohne ein neues teures Setup! Ich habe mittlerweile einige Boxen und meine gute alte Anlage mit Airport Express AirPlay-fähig gemacht und freue mich über den verlustfreien Klang. Aber alle sind Einzelspieler und ich war auf der Suche nach einer Muötiroom-Lösung. Mit dieser App ist das alles machbar. Es werden auch die alten AirPlay Express und ein AirPlay Dongle problemlos gefunden und eingebunden. Auch meinen NAS Server kann ich einbinden. Die Bedienung ist nach kurzer Eingewöhnung intuitiv. Und das ganze für schlappe 11,- € plus noch mal etwas mehr als 1,- € für das Einbinden des NAS Servers. Fantastisch. Eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die Multiroom wollen ohne ihre guten Geräte zu ersetzen. Danke dafür! ### 5/5 — Hervorragende App seit vielen Jahren *2021-02-07* Für mich ist WHAALE einfach genial. Alle, wirklich alle meine Airplay und shairplay-sync Geräte werden eingebunden. Vom mittlerweile in die Jahre gekommenen Pioneer Radio mit Airplay 1 über den irgendwann dazugekommen Beoplay und die zuletzt von mir angeschafften großen HiFi Boxen, die über einen Raspberry Pi mit hifiberry amp2 Erweiterung angesteuert werden. Auch der Support von WHAALE ist bestens. Bin absolut zufrieden, daher auch 5 Sterne. ### 5/5 — 5 Sterne für Innovation *2020-12-01* Ich hatte die App gefühlt bereits auf meinem iPad 1 und wollte ein Multiroom Sound Erlebnis. Das was Apple nicht konnte, konnten diese Entwickler mit ihrer App. Mittlerweile zieht Apple nach aber sie könnten viel erreichen. Ich Streame mit AirPlay Lautsprechern und habe nun 4XSonos One noch mit angehängt . Einfach super ! Streame alles via VTuner / Internet Für mich Perfekt - kann ich bei AirPlay jedem empfehlen ! ### 5/5 — No problems here *2018-12-14, version 1.10.8* The music rarely drops out I have had it playing for hours on three B&W AirPlay speakers and I was still able to use my phone as normal. Sound quality is great and I’m able to play all my files. As far as I’m aware it doesn’t say it supports Spotify so why would you expect it to. Worth every penny, the only gripe I have is if WHAALE are able to do it why can’t Apple, instead of telling us we have to have AirPlay 2 enabled speakers. ### 5/5 — Fantastic App *2018-08-03, version 1.10.1* Fantastic app that allows seamless in-synch streaming to multiple airplay speakers. Easy to control individual speakers and output from an aesthetic iPad interface. Would be great to have more access to local content but there are plenty of other options. ### 5/5 — excellent app *2018-07-09* This app works very well. I have it working with six airport expresses and 3 Yamaha Musiccast speakers (in airplay mode) ---works amazingly well. I'm sure that some people may prefer sonos---but this app lets me choose my speakers---a person is not stuck in the sonos ecosystem----nor forced to use a subscription service to get the most out of one's purchase like the target audience for the homepod. For those of us with large collections of CDs and itunes purchases, I think this is much better than going the homepod route/apple music route. I have not noticed any latency issues (but I do have robust network involving two hardwired ac time capsules and some wired and non-wired second generation airport expresses).
