## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.4.1 — 2026-08-01

Whack the new wordy moles back with dictionaries of your own! You can now immediately look up any unfamiliar words from the Mole battle and Wordy Mole Mayhem rounds in the Mole Recon and Grudge Match screens. These buttons will pop open the iOS Dictionary so you can get back into a rematch with more informed bonking.

Spell Word now works for Wordy Mole Mayhem! In addition, in Mole Recon for the word modes, Speak Braille Dots will show or hide the dots in the Recon and Grudge Match word buttons. The braille dot announcement has also been tightened up to be less annoying.

### 1.4.0 — 2026-07-31

The moles are back with a vengeance, and dictionaries! Introducing Mole Battles! These rounds will test your typing and braille entry skills as words are presented to you instead of single characters or contractions.

Start off easy with 3 and 4 letter words, bonking each mole in turn to spell them out. Then move on to the Grade 1 Mole Battle, where random 3 to 5 letter words appear!

When you are ready, enter the Wordy Mole Mayhem mode, where words from 4 to 10 letters in length will appear. Type them correctly to whack the mole and move on to the next one. Perfect for working on touch typing, Perkins entry, braille screen input, and braille display input!

The Mole Chooser has been updated with a more organized experience, and new mole hit sounds have been added for the multi-mole bonks in the Battle modes. All Battle Modes work in Training Mode and Mole Recon, so if a word keeps escaping, have at it until you can type it with ease.

More prizes and Whackiness coming soon, until then, fight back against these ever wordier moles!

### 1.3.5 — 2026-07-29

Game Settings has a new look and feel! Simplified the overall layout and got rid of all the individual headings for each control, and now everything has been placed in logical sections.

New Support Whack A Braille section, and Feedback has been placed under the About and Feedback heading in the Settings screen.

### 1.3.4 — 2026-06-28

The moles were busy chewing on all the arcade cables and causing the game to fail when using AirPods. They've since been whacked and the game can continue smoothly through whatever audio devices you prefer, including AirPods. New motivating flavor text has been added to the Round Results screens based on your performance in either the game rounds or training, so have at those moles!

### 1.3.3 — 2026-06-15

The moles tried sabotaging the game by eating the "ful" Grade 2 suffix. That has now been fixed for all modes of entry.
