## What is Whale Log?

Surf forecasts for 139 spots in Korea and Bali, plus a diary that remembers every session.

Whale Log is a surf forecast and logging app built for surfers who travel between Korea and Bali.

FORECASTS FOR 139 SPOTS

- 38 spots in Korea (Yangyang, Jeju, Busan, Gangneung, Goseong, Pohang and more)
- 101 spots in Bali (Uluwatu, Padang Padang, Canggu, Keramas, Nusa Dua and more)
- Data combined from Open-Meteo Marine, the Korea Meteorological Administration and the Korea Hydrographic and Oceanographic Agency
- Korean spots are calibrated against real buoy measurements for better accuracy

IS IT GOOD FOR *YOU*?

Set your surf level and board type, and every spot gets scored for how well it suits you - not just a generic swell number.

- Wave height, period, wind, and water temperature by the hour
- Wind direction arrows over a satellite map
- Alerts when a marine weather warning is issued for your favorite spots

A DIARY THAT FILLS ITSELF IN

- Log the spot, board, conditions and how the session felt
- Attach photos and clips from the day
- The wave chart for that exact session is saved with your entry automatically
- Look back on your month in calendar view
- Read public session logs from other surfers

BADGES

- First session, dawn patrol, 100 sessions and many more
- Some badges unlock by reading the surf guides
- Fill out the collection as you surf

SURF GUIDES

- Fundamentals for people starting out
- Safety, lineup etiquette, gear, and how to read a forecast
- Organized by category with progress tracking

GETTING STARTED

- Sign in with Apple, Kakao, Google, or email
- Available in English and Korean

SAFETY NOTICE

- Forecasts are for reference only. Always check conditions in person before paddling out.
- Data comes from third-party public sources and accuracy is not guaranteed.
