Meanwhile, loads of other profiles have pics in just their underpants and these are deemed ‘fine’. Make it make sense. ### 1/5 — Too many notifications *2021-11-20* No in app settings to control. The only thing you can do is quit. It hasn’t resolved. It’s been like this for at least a month. I’m on one of the latest iPhones. Prior to this I kept hoping more people would show up they were actually into what this app is about. But that never seems to really happen. That’s not the developers fault. It is the developers fault that I can’t use it. **Developer response:** Hello - to resolve the can’t connect to network error please delete the app completely from your phone and redownlod. This is a known issue and the only way to fix it is by re-installing. You wont lose your profile, contacts or messages. If you continue to have issue please contact support@whappz.com ### 2/5 — Poorly done *2020-10-15* It’s a decent idea for an app, but it consistently crashes when you open messages making it unusable. The promised fix has not materialised after 10 months and a quick search shows that this is a widespread problem. ### 1/5 — It worked for a minute... *2020-06-08* Downloaded the app. Got my profile set up. If the issues with the chat persist, i.e. crashing every time I open a message, then I will stand firmly that this is a dreadfully flawed app. Please update the app and fix these problems! I don’t want to be frustrated or critical of the app, i just want you to be aware of the poor functionality and resolve the issues to make an awesome app for the community of this kink! I have a job. YOU have a job! Is everyone working 24/7?! I’ve never experienced an app like this before where literally EVERYONE seems to always be “working”. Bad community? Probably. Either way, steer clear. 🫠 ### 1/5 — Basically worthless *2025-05-25* It is really unfortunate that this is apparently the best option for folks interested in spanking. Maybe transphobia has been part of the problem that has made my experience so lackluster, but it is not the entire reason. Paying for premium promises that you will see 6x as many people. I tried it and saw about 3 more people than I had seen before. The messaging is glitchy, and the user volume is basically just not worth it, I guess. The search feature is likewise fairly useless, and the community/events page shows almost nothing, no matter how wide you set the distance parameters. I don’t know how others find this useable. It is functionally worthless, I guess unless you live in New York or LA, because those seem to be the only places that show frequent usage. ### 1/5 — Sick *2025-03-22* This app has some incredibly sick people on here. I mean sick. I’ve been off an on of this app and have quit for good bc the same sicko keeps asking me to be his “daughter slave” and have access to my behind to smell and inspect it. I’m sorry I’m a very accepting person, but if you want to smell another adult’s butt, wipe it, and keep track of the other’s BMs, you have issues only God Himself can cure. If you don’t think that’s weird, then you are just as sick… so maybe you’ll get along with them… ### 1/5 — Sick *2025-01-03* This app has some incredibly sick people on here. I mean sick. Take y’all’s meds. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t let you send more than 4 photos *2024-11-13* Unless you pay pay for an account they limit you to 4x pre saved photos to send people. Really annoying. Having pictures is THE most basic feature of a ‘dating’/connecting app and they of course had to be greedy like all these apps are instead of focusing on user experience. It’s meant to show you all the locals, but some of the profiles that come up on the people near me are in America… for the record, I’m from the UK! There are legit people messaging me, but you are very, very limited with your options of a meet. You would meet what’s available, rather than filtering what you like in people in other apps. ### 1/5 — Male profiles only? *2022-11-25* It appears to me that this site only hosts male profiles. The makers should make that clear in the description. I’ve already deleted the app. ### 1/5 — Connection error *2021-11-22* The app hasn’t worked on iPhone for over a year now. The verification feature helps keep the community safe. I like how there are tips and guidance on safe and consensual play along with community events. It also has a lot of customization options which I appreciate. ### 5/5 — Great for Meeting People and Staying Connected *2026-04-26* I’ve had a great experience with Whappz and have made some genuine connections through the app. One thing I really enjoy is seeing events posted and being able to share travel plans or see who’s traveling through my area—it makes it feel much more connected than a typical app. I’m a premium member and feel it’s worth it for the added features. It’s easy to navigate, and functions well for both quick chats or longer convos. I’ve met a number of great guys who share my interests. It’s also cool that Whappz shows you the various events and gatherings available around the country for those in the scene. I’ve enjoyed meeting and chatting with people who share similar interests. Set up like various similar mobile applications, users can expect to know the proximity (distance) of of others users and receive in-app and push notifications (if desired) when they receive communication or interactions from other users. But of course, you have the issue of people actually following through to meet. That is the difficulty part.
