## What is What I Eat?

The only food tracker that rewards you for eating well.
All apps just track your calories. What I Eat rewards you for every healthy choice you make.

EARN POINTS. BUILD STREAKS. GET REWARDED
Every meal you log from your camera earns points. Hit your daily nutrition goal, earn more. Keep a streak alive, earn even more. Your consistency becomes currency in a rewards system built to keep you motivated long after the novelty fades.

Unlike every other calorie counter, What I Eat turns your healthy habits into something tangible. Log, earn, and level up.

SNAP A PHOTO. GET INSTANT NUTRITION
Point your camera at any meal and our AI instantly identifies every ingredient with a full nutrition breakdown, calories, protein, carbs, and fat. No manual entry, no barcode scanning, no guesswork. Works on restaurant dishes, home cooking, and everything in between.

AI BODY COMPOSITION & POSTURE
Capture your fitness journey with progress photos and receive AI-powered body composition analysis. Get estimated body fat range, muscle definition score, and posture feedback from each photo. Log your body measurements for more detailed Navy formula calculations. Compare any two photos side by side to see your transformation with detailed change metrics, and track your body fat trends over time with visual charts.

AI MEAL INSIGHTS & PATTERN RECOGNITION
Your nutrition data tells a story. Our AI reads it. See which meals consistently support your goals, identify the gaps that are holding you back, and get smart weekly recommendations tailored to your actual eating history, not a generic template.

PERSONALIZED TO YOUR REAL LIFESTYLE
We ask about the things that actually affect your metabolism:
  • Eating window: intermittent fasting, OMAD, or regular meals
  • Sleep duration: because it changes your energy needs
  • Hydration habits: to set realistic daily water goals
  • GLP-1 medication use: for accurate protein and calorie targets

The result: macro and calorie goals that fit how you actually live.

APPLE WATCH APP
Your most important numbers, always on your wrist. Check calories remaining, protein progress, and water intake from your watch face. Log water with a single tap, without reaching for your phone.

TRACK EVERYTHING IN ONE PLACE
  • AI meal scanner, instant nutrition from any photo
  • Manual entry, voice logging, and food search
  • Water tracking with streaks and daily goal ring
  • Weight tracking with trend charts
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly nutrition summaries
  • Full scan history with search and filtering

BUILT FOR CONSISTENCY
Streaks are your most powerful motivation tool. What I Eat is designed around keeping them alive, with reminders, milestone rewards, and a dashboard that makes your progress impossible to ignore.

### 2/5 — Let down

*2026-05-04*

There is no option to scan a bar code, AI more often got my plate wrong. Added food that was not there, confusing it for what it was. Even just typing in what you ate was often wrong in calories and macros, despite trying to be as descriptive as possible.

**Developer response:** Hi, and thank you for taking the time to share this feedback, it genuinely helps us improve.
Barcode scanning is in active development and will land in an upcoming release. It'll give you exact, label-accurate macros without relying on AI estimation at all. Photo recognition accuracy is something we're improving every week, better detection of multiple items on a plate, fewer "phantom" foods, and stricter confidence thresholds so the app asks you to confirm rather than guessing. Typed entries are getting an upgrade too: a larger verified food database and clearer portion handling, so descriptive entries return descriptive results.

Thanks for giving What I Eat a try
