I use this app a lot for work and I have a group of about 25 to 30 guys. Spanish or Portuguese and I only speak English and it makes communication through text messages. It could be easier to sync with Whats App as that is not straight forward. Previously I was out of the loop because I can’t feasibly manually translate a large number of conversations. Linking to Whatsapp was effortless. Well, after using it for a few weeks now I can confirm that it does! It’s an amazing bit of technology really. It translates from Spanish to Turkish, but it doesn't send the messages I write in Turkish back to the recipient in Spanish. It sends them back in Turkish. Therefore, it doesn't fully perform its function. It should translate my Spanish messages into Turkish, and it should translate my Turkish messages into Spanish before sending them back, but because it doesn't do this properly, I'm not buying it. **Developer response:** Hi! Sounds like you need to set the outgoing language for the chat conversation (with the three dots in the top right corner) to Spanish so that it sends your messages out in that language. Think you must have missed that. If you'd like us to walk you through it in more detail, please use the in app help and then I can send you over example screenshots. Linking was easy. But the chat rarely updates to show the entire chat with newest messages from WhatsApp. Every time I open this app it says it refreshes the chat from WhatsApp but it doesn’t. I always have to close the app and open it again. Sometimes the chat herbals up to date with WhatsApp and sometimes it doesn’t. Also, why is my phone number required to link my account!!! Never made it past that point as I deleted it completely. I was excited to use because I’ve been waiting for something like this for a long time. Unfortunately I started to notice strange behaviour on my other linked devices. Messages being slow to download, getting stuck in the cloud. I unlinked WhatLingo and everything returned to normal. Subsequent attempts to re-link with WhatLingo have all failed. I tried to click the app support button above but it’s a broken link.
