## What is What's Good?

What’s Good is a simple and elegant tool designed to make you happier - by helping you notice and appreciate the good things in each day.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

We naturally tend to focus more on the bad things than the good. This instinct helped us survive as a species, but it’s not so helpful in cultivating happiness. What’s Good helps you retrain your brain to notice the good things too.

The science behind this is surprisingly strong: just one week of noting good things has been found to bring lasting increases in happiness - and to significantly reduce your risk of depression.¹

HOW DO I USE IT?

Each day you will simply be asked to reflect on and enter three things that went well that day. Then you’ll record your happiness score for that day.

Taking time to regularly note what you’re grateful for not only boosts your happiness, it can also bring other benefits, including greater compassion, lower blood pressure, and even a stronger immune system.²

When you make What's Good part of your daily routine, you will also discover a wealth of personal insight. You’ll be able to see when you tend to be happiest and what really contributes to this.

### 5/5 — great app- would benefit from search feature

*2026-04-16, version 1.5.0*

hello, i’m leaving a review because i tried to get in contact with the email address but it said the adress was unable to receive mail.

i love the app and have been using every day for almost 7 years, but as someone who uses it more generally as a daily journal it would be incredibly useful if the app offered a search feature in the timeline section like the search tab in messaging apps, where one could look up key words and entries with those words would come up. often times i forget when i did something or when something happened and takes forever to figure out, but if i was able to search for a word and the entry would come up it could be an instant solution.

i hope you’ll consider this idea!
thanks so much! :)

### 5/5 — Wonderful app

*2024-11-17, version 1.5.0*

I've been using this app every day for almost five years and I really think it's made me a more positive person! Just wanted to say thank you to the developers as it's one of my absolute favourite apps :)

### 4/5 — Good but can’t read the Quote

*2024-08-05, version 1.5.0*

This is a very good, simple app as regards noting 3 positive things a day but I cannot read the Quote as it is white text on the almost white part of a photo used as the background. It would be great if this could be sorted by using coloured type or a darker background. Edit: Was able to read the Quote from 4 August 2024 (a few days after my Review) as now black text on a light background. Hurrah! Thanks. Another Edit: The black text that was clear and could be read easily was unfortunately just a fluke. It went back to white text on a pale background a day later.

### 5/5 — Outstanding app!!!

*2023-05-09, version 1.4.0*

This is a very easy to use app. I also love the fact it allows me to rate my day on a scale of 100. The flashbacks that appear are also great.
I hope that the developer of the app will continue to make tweaks to it.

### 5/5 — Simple to use and effective

*2022-09-02, version 1.3.4*

A really nice way to connect in with gratitude and help shift towards a positive mindset.
Neurological research backs these types of practice for healing trauma and creating a more grounded life

### 5/5 — Love this app

*2021-06-14, version 1.3.4*

The beautiful photography uplifts me, quotes are great and easy to use

### 3/5 — Data deleted

*2020-08-30, version 1.3.4*

I had been using this app for over a year with almost 500 entries. I opened the app to find everything had been deleted. I tried to reinstall and sync with iCloud, but nothing restored. I’m so upset at the loss of data because I started using this app when I had a therapist to get me through a difficult time of loss. So many good things are gone forever. As if this pandemic isn’t enough...

### 5/5 — Best Gratitude app out there

*2020-08-25, version 1.3.4*

I tried several. This has a beautiful design and interface. A+

### 5/5 — Lovely little App

*2020-06-04, version 1.3.4*

I really enjoy taking the time to check in with myself via this lovely little app🙏
It s never a chore and I look forward to reviewing the day as it draws to a close....

### 5/5 — Perfect

*2019-05-14, version 1.3.4*

My favorite ! A beautiful and inspiring yet simple app to take a moment to reflect on the day and construct positive perspectives.
