### 4/5 — Apple a pain

*2024-01-08, version 5.1.1*

Couldn’t find it and reloaded from AppStore and for the second time all my scores have vanished off What’s my note which is very annoying. Probably an Apple thing.

### 2/5 — No Option to Import Digital Sheet Music

*2023-02-26, version 5.0.0*

The app works great only for hard sheet music copies. I think the app should have a feature to import digital copies this time around considering the app has been available for a long time already.

### 2/5 — ok at times

*2021-12-24, version 4.0.0*

Doesn't read all notes

### 3/5 — Más o menos

*2021-08-13, version 3.7.17*

La verdad si reconoce las notas pero tienes que andar picando cada nota para reproducirlo no lo lee automáticamente muy básica pero se agradece el esfuerzo

### 2/5 — All scores randomly erased

*2021-05-27, version 3.7.16*

This app has a nasty habit of erasing all of your scores at random. This means that if your scores are all pdfs, like mine, you have to reimport them one by one. This has happened to me twice now. Very time consuming. I like the app but this issue is a fatal flaw. Please fix. It would also be good if there was a easier and less time consuming import process.

### 4/5 — Newbie to this programme

*2020-01-30, version 3.7.11*

I have just started this brilliant app, so have not got it under my belt but a brilliant aid to those singers who cannot sight read or play an instrument.

### 2/5 — Good Concept, Needs Work

*2019-10-01, version 3.7.10*

Took photos several times, didn't work. Some notes were not properly read, and only read one at a time when there were multiple at once, and would not even process the majority of the page. Needs a bit of work.

### 4/5 — Love the app

*2018-07-02, version 3.7.7*

I like this app very much, the only thing I would like it to do yet is when you press and hold for the note that it would show if it was like and f or c or b flat! Something like that.

### 1/5 — Absolutely waste of money

*2017-09-26, version 3.7.0*

You shouldn’t buy it even they offer $0.99 paying to you!

### 5/5 — Very, very useful

*2017-06-09, version 3.0.1*

I sing barbershop harmony and this is already proving to very handy. Earlier version choked on a piece of music that looked good on visual inspection so I contacted the developer and within 24 hours they had tweaked the app to handle some subtleties of that music.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — scam

*2024-02-03, version 5.1.1*

does not work

### 1/5 — Very confusing

*2024-01-14, version 5.1.1*

It does not detect any scanned sheet photo properly

### 1/5 — New update , please fix the bugs

*2022-11-11, version 5.0.0*

I love this app ,but since today I’ve been having a lot of issues .
The app has way too many bugs ,
I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app several times ,reset it my IPAD,and no luck so far .
I am not sure if it’s due to the new update .
Please try fix the glitches ASAP .

### 1/5 — Not very good

*2021-02-06, version 3.7.15*

I want my money back, I paid for this is a rush to get something done and it didn’t work at all. It didn’t read the notes after I took the pictures and you cannot even add a pdf! The app is confusing and not worth it to me.

### 1/5 — Don’t waist your money

*2021-02-01, version 3.7.15*

i tried several times for it to capture my sheet work and it still never did. terrible app

### 1/5 — Waste of a dollar.

*2021-01-11, version 3.7.15*

This app is horrible. It ONLY reads sheet music, so it couldn’t help me on my note identification homework. When it reads, it adds a flash. When the photo comes out, it did absolutely NOTHING to help me. It just looked like they put a filter on the photo. Do not but this app, it will not make anything easier. If I could give it a 0 star, I would.

### 1/5 — Very bad

*2020-03-27, version 3.7.12*

The picture was hard to take. After the picture it doesn’t show you how to play it just plays the not for you when you press it and it sound terrible

### 1/5 — Doesn’t read length of notes or sharps and flats

*2018-10-31, version 3.7.9*

The only thing this app is useful for is showing you the very note that would be on that part of the staff, it doesn’t even read accidentals. If you can’t figure that out without the app then I don’t know how you’d be able to figure out how to download it in the first place. This thing is complete garbage and not even worth a dollar

### 1/5 — Don’t bother. Wish I could get my money back

*2018-04-14, version 3.7.6*

Would not read some small pieces of music. These were phrases.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t even play piano?!??

*2017-11-30, version 3.7.2*

What a waste. I don’t know why it’s so hard to find something that plays a not that you tap on a scale.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Good app, great support!

*2025-10-25, version 5.1.2*

A great app for non musicians like me who like to sing. An easy tool to play the notes you need to learn, in my case a church choir. When I hit a challenge I shared it with the support team and they jumped right on it! I’d give them one more star for great support if I could!!

### 5/5 — Best app for a nice price

*2022-04-14, version 4.0.0*

Highly recommended!!!

### 5/5 — Fantastic!

*2021-05-06*

Works great with real books, thanks!

### 5/5 — Great app some glitches still

*2020-08-16, version 3.7.12*

I love this app since I cannot read music well at all. It has been my savior for singing at church. The picture can be a little grainy but the quality has greatly improved.

### 5/5 — Incredibly useful little tool

*2020-02-15*

While the interface and presentation could do with a little (or more) love, this app does exactly what it says and does it extremely well. For any performer who cannot sight read, this app is a godsend.

### 5/5 — Great app!👍👍

*2020-01-21, version 3.7.11*

Love this app. Helps me learn my music much faster and increases my accuracy on intervals I usually have trouble with. Use it to Kearny’s my acappella music since I don’t play the piano.
Can’t recommend this app enough!

### 5/5 — Well worth the purchase

*2018-06-30, version 3.7.7*

This app does exactly what it claims. They also provide clear directions on how to adjust settings to enable various options. This is exactly what I needed to be able to practice my part whenever I have a free moment.

### 5/5 — This is a great idea, with major short comings

*2018-06-18, version 3.7.6*

I love the concept that an app on my ipad/iphone can sort through the key of a piece of sheet music I can select the notes in my part that I need help with. However, I can’t imagine why pray tell, can you not import a pdf file? I’ve go perhaps 400 plus pieces of music in pdf format that I can’t import... I have to print the piece I want to review, then take a picture of it? Tedious. Let’s hope in future versions we find the ability to import pdf for analysis. This alone would bring me to issue a 5 star rating.

### 5/5 — It's an awesome app!

*2017-11-25, version 3.7.2*

It's an awesome app!

### 5/5 — Basic but perfect!

*2017-10-22, version 3.7.0*

I find this app really useful, especially them you want to work on note intervals but don't have a piano to hand.

I had a problem with one of my pieces not uploading, I emailed the problem to the developers and they got back to me the next day (on a Sunday)!

Very helpful team and glad I downloaded the app.

Thank you
