## What is What's My Set?

What's My Set is a set counter for your workouts with accessibility as a priority.

During my workouts I kept losing track of my sets and rest periods. I couldn't find a solution that met my requirements for simplicity, accessibility, and usability, so I made my own!

No more forgetting what set/exercise count you're on or tracking how much time is left during your rest periods.

The app will keep track of all of that for you with convenient rest timers that let you concentrate on what matters.

Besides simple rest timers, there is also support for Tabata and EMOM (every minute on the minute) interval timers.

KNOW YOUR SET
Set and exercise counts are front and center to help you track your workouts.

TIME YOUR REST
Easy access to convenient rest timers that will automatically increment the set count when they complete. Audio cues and haptics can alert you when it's time to start getting your sweat on again.

INTERVAL TRAINING
Interval timers are available to add variety to your workouts.
* Tabata - Automatic work/rest rounds with audio and visual cues for work vs rest.
* EMOM - Every minute on the minute intervals with audio cues.
* More coming soon!

ACCESSIBLE BY DESIGN
Accessibility has been a priority from day one.
* VoiceOver
* Voice Control
* Dynamic Type - The largest text on the smallest windows will work.
* Audio Cues & Haptic Feedback - Know changes without viewing the app.
* Differentiate Without Color
* Reduce Transparency - Higher-contrast materials for easier readability.

LIFT FROM YOUR WRIST
Run an entire workout from your wrist with set/exercise counters, timers, and live heart rate.
Large Counters are an option to keep everything readable at a glance with configurable colors (or symbols if differentiate without color is desired).

SYNCS WITH APPLE HEALTH
Optionally log completed workouts to Apple Health with duration, heart rate, workout type, and energy burned. (Heart rate and energy burned are Apple Watch only.)

MAKE IT YOURS
iOS/iPadOS have over 70 colorful themes to choose from. Pick your favorite or have a random choice each time you start the app. The Apple Watch app has configurable colors (or random colors).

BUILT FOR EVERY SCREEN
A native experience on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch, with layouts tailored to each (including Split View on iPad).

The Pro version of What's My Set uses auto-renewing subscriptions.
Your subscription will be charged to your iTunes Account once you confirm your purchase. Your iTunes account will be charged again when your subscription automatically renews at the end of your current subscription period unless auto renew is turned off at least 24 hours prior to end of the current period. You can manage or turn off auto-
renew in your Apple ID Account Settings any time after purchase.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.7 — 2026-07-31

# New Language

The app now supports German!

# Bug Fix

iOS/iPadOS themes that were heavily green could have rest timer cancel buttons that were a darker green. This was not ideal since the confirmation button is also green.

### 1.6 — 2026-07-23

# Rest Timers

Pro users can now choose themes for their rest timers! Each rest timer can have its own theme and you can also make the theme random. If you prefer the classic iOS timer, that’s still an option.

New themes:
- UFO
- Synthwave
- Liquid
- Barbell
- Climber

More coming in the future!

### 1.5 — 2026-07-10

# UI

* The app adjusts much better to landscape modes. This is especially true on the iPhone where more can now be shown.

# Languages

* Added support for French (France).
* Bug fix: Color names were not localized.

# Accessibility

* Watch controls will try to display shorter, similar words when space is tight.
* Bug fix: On smaller iPhones with the biggest text EMOM workouts with very long durations could have text get truncated.

# Guild Ads

The demo version of the app displays ads from Guild Ads, a privacy-respecting ad network made by my friend Tyler. No ad network calls or ad presentation are present in the Pro version of the app.

As outlined in the Guild Ads Privacy Policy, Guild Ads is designed to avoid cross-app tracking. It does not use Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA), does not ask to track you, and does not build a profile of you across other apps. When the demo version shows an ad, the app sends Guild Ads an app-specific identifier that is hashed before it is stored, so it cannot be tied back to you. Guild Ads uses this only to count how many people saw or tapped an ad within this app, to limit how often you see the same ad, and to pay the developer. It does not match your identity across other apps, does not build a behavioral profile of you, and does not sell information about you to advertisers.

# Misc Bug Fixes

* The warning on the Apple Watch app that lets the user know that heart rate can’t currently be measured wouldn’t scroll.

### 1.4 — 2026-07-07

# Mac

* Removed references to Health and workout logging. Logging can only be done via the iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch versions of the app.
* Bug fix: The transition tone wasn't being played.

# Tip Jar

* Added a tip jar in the Information section if the Pro version is active.

### 1.3 — 2026-06-30

First post launch release!

# Feedback Settings on Apple Watch

The settings for sound and haptics on the Apple Watch app could be confusing. You couldn't have warning or transition alerts if the sound toggle was off. Adding to the confusion was the fact that haptics for apps on the Apple Watch always have accompanying sounds.

The individual toggles for sound and haptics have been removed. There's now a picker that has these choices:
- Sound and Haptics
- Sound Only
- Haptics with Less Sound
- None

NOTE: When the screen dims during a timer when Health logging is off (which is always the case in demo mode) the warning and transition feedback won't be as prominent or timely. When Health logging is on the system lets the app run prominently in the background and deliver all feedback immediately even if the screen is dimmed.

# Mac

Addressed a crash with the Mac version.

# Misc

* Workouts that are immediately ended aren't logged to Health. Therefore they shouldn't ever trigger the workout summary.
* Made the paywall adjust even better to the largest text sizes.
