I was instantly able to find few interesting places round me without having to waste many hours behind a computer in preparation of site seeing. This app helped me to find lots of new places which were unlisted elsewhere, also it’s really useful for finding spots to take beautiful pictures. I was able to discover a lot of exciting historical, architecture and some waterfalls within my driving distance. Navigation is really easy with this app, and the sharing features are simple and easy to use. For eg I can share a place description in Facebook or via direct email with friends, that makes it easy to plan for a trip. List view and Map view are both very informative, one can easily figure out distance/category of places just by looking at the search results, and it is fast too! App UI is still primitive, but I think it has a tons of good information available. ### 5/5 — Useful App! *2018-04-22, version 1.2.0* This is surprising simple yet very useful app. I was able to discover many great tourist spots right here in my hometown that I had no idea existed within my walking distance. WhatsHere has become my goto app for places discovery every where I'm traveling. There are not many pictures in this app. I've been uploading pictures of all the places that I have visited recently. I tried many apps, most of them either were incomplete, difficult to use or were not free. This app seems to be perfect for my use case of finding all tourist spots around me, and it is free. This app also has an option to save places to your favourite list, exactly what I was looking for my travel planning. All I needed was a simple app that shows all the popular tourist attractions near me or be able to search for attractions at different places before I reach there. It has a nice option to bookmark places and the best part is the offline access to recently viewed places. I was able to see the places, descriptions, and addresses of all the recently viewed places while I was at a remote place with no internet access. There are a few rooms for improvement, maybe have an option to create an itinerary by name so that one can plan and save different trips.
