## What is WhatsRates?

WhatsRate is a beautifully simple currency companion for travelers and cross-border shoppers.

LIVE CONVERSION
Type once and every currency updates instantly. 137 currencies, and it works offline too.

SCAN A PRICE TAG
Point your camera at a price and watch it convert in real time. Tap the shutter to freeze the frame for a steady look. Price recognition runs entirely on your device — nothing leaves your phone.

TRENDS & TIMING
Overlay normalized curves for several currencies and get a plain-language read on whether now is a good time to convert.

RATE & DEAL ALERTS
Set a target rate, or a "deal" threshold based on the past year's range, and get notified. Built-in 5-year range checks keep your alerts sensible.

AMOUNT ANCHORS
Save amounts like rent or tuition and watch the total move with the market.
