Then I tried using Apple; purchased coins; coins did not appear in the top-up. Email receipt from Apple showing the payment but still no money in top-up. ### 3/5 — Hard to use *2025-03-17* What’s frustrating is it doesn’t take you to a library where you have saved books. The app doesn’t save on your phone. It was entertaining enough, though low quality, so I downloaded the app, willing to spend some money on this particular book. Imagine my utter HORROR to see that this book would cost me almost $300 to read 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 $300 for a low quality, unedited ‘book’. I can’t EVEN, it’s too ridiculous and hilarious. I can’t even believe people would pay for grammatical errors, spelling errors, blatant inconsistencies (the author couldn’t even keep the MAIN CHARACTERS NAME STRAIGHT 🤣🤣🤣), plots that don’t make sense and one dimensional characters. And you have the audacity to charge $300. Well, y’all are brilliant, the real idiots are the ones paying. You can get a decently edited, actually fleshed out book from Barnes and Nobel for less than $20…and LIBRARIES ARE FREE (just yelling so those in the back can hear me). Honestly, these apps are infuriating, price gouging wastes of time and energy. Reached out for assistance received a generic “ We’re here for you message” typed out what happened added screenshots of purchase the completed coin usage and screenshot of what was unlocked and got no response. ### 1/5 — Overpriced characters change names bad app *2024-12-30, version 2.0.0* Chapters are expensive to unlock. Don’t always get the free coins. Says you receive them but they don’t show up in your coins. Not enough ways to earn free coins. Times for reading to get free coins like 15/30/45 mins don’t track time read. Was reading second chance at dreams and like 30 chapters in the characters names changed like maybe the book is someone else’s and names were changed then not changed in some places. The bounce back and forth between names.
