Best part? The weather blog. Then, somebody decided that they had to assault us with ads and I couldn’t get through two sentences of the blog without being visually slapped with an annoying pop up video. It’s beyond frustrating! It broke my heart to delete this app. I understand having to make money - no app is truly free - but for crying out loud, there’s no need for popups that cover the entire phone screen. ### 1/5 — Used to be good now all pop-ups *2026-02-28, version 5.17.710* It used to be a decent app. The weather blog was very helpful to read. Now you can’t scroll by it without some stupid goddamn video popping up. It’s absolutely worthless now. Underneath the temperature is the dew point and humidity. The daily shouldn’t state that the high is 89° with a 20% chance of rain and the hourly states that the high will be 81° with a 65% chance of rain in the evening. ### 3/5 — Video always way behind now *2022-06-23, version 5.4.949* The app itself is great but video content old. They have a 6:00am new broadcast and they used to post that by 7 or 8 am. Now it’s the video from the previous day, usually 10pm but sometimes 4pm. Almost useless. Weekends forget it. ### 4/5 — Love the blog *2021-02-06, version 5.1.601* Being able to read the blog to get some nuance on the forecast is useful. While the video forecast is nice, sometimes video isn’t a good medium cause you don’t want to make noise or put on headphones. As a plow driver, I stick with 7 weather since the forecasts are solid and the blog is great.
