Wheel allows you to control and customize your Copenhagen Wheel - the new device from Superpedestrian that transforms your bicycle into a smart electric hybrid. Named one of TIME Magazine’s 25 Best Inventions of 2014.

Superpedestrian is focused on urban mobility. Our mission is to help people move through cities more seamlessly. 

The Copenhagen Wheel contains a motor, batteries, multiple sensors, wireless connectivity, and an embedded control system. The Wheel app works with the Copenhagen Wheel to give you:

This was great while it lasted, but the company went bankrupt and the app is completely nonfunctional now. You cannot login.

The tire size options appear to be associated with circumferences for 700 wheels. I use 26” wheels on recumbent trikes. Can’t seem to motivate app developer to update for this wheel size or change to allow user to enter circumference value for accurate speed and distance. Support seems nonexistent.

Does anyone know if this app still works?  Heard the closed up everything.

I bought a new phone and downloaded this app so I can continue using my super pedestrian wheel. I tried to login to the app via google and keep getting errors. I tried to reset my password and that also produces errors. Please update this app so that a login isn’t required if you all aren’t going to support the wheel anymore.

I am so glad I got this Copenhagen wheel. I have an electric bike and this works better! Such smooth assistance. No jolting at all. You wouldn’t even know it’s there except the hills are easier. Really well designed. I keep it in eco mode and with shifting it’s great. Even though I think the wheel weighs about 18 lbs I sometimes ride with the motor (which is totally silent) off on a flat road and it’s fine. Really great product. If you can find one and you have the right bike for it (caliper brakes) grab it! You won’t be sorry.
