It is a different approach than many people are used to, so I would suggest watching the YouTube video to get the basic principles first. I love this new perspective! It could also apply to anyone who never really “got” their times tables. This is a much more intuitive and fun approach to understanding multiplication than traditional memorization of the times tables (yuck!) that I had to learn when I was a kid.
