Yellow banner on start screen is blank and when you enter the puzzle, it shows two Ws on the board and nothing else. No way to back out. There is one spin per day for the final puzzle to win money that means nothing. The developers don't understand the fun part of WoF is spinning the wheel. There's no chance to spin, guess letters, buy vowels, win prizes, lose turns, or bankrupt. Those are what makes the show fun. Nobody watches just for toss ups and the final puzzle. They really just did the bare minimum here. Compare this to Jeopardy Daily which is actually Jeopardy. Also no landscape support on iPad. ### 2/5 — Used to be a good 5-min diversion till it stopped working *2025-12-07* As a word puzzle, it was a decent way to pass time. With the ability to vote for the next days puzzle category, themed weeks/days based on what was going on that time of year, and lots of options. Slowly, those features slowly disappeared. While some good, like being able to pick your own next category as opposed to popular vote were good, others like losing the themes, and now losing selecting the category, this app has become basic and boring. There are enough archived puzzles to keep you busy for a little while. My only complaint is that the top spots of the money leaderboard have landed on the million $ space on like 80% of their spins, meaning that they are definitely using a mechanical device to spin at minimum, which is pretty lame. However, that’s not really the devs’ fault.
