## What is Wheels2U?

Wheels2U is an on-demand shuttle service that picks you up at your location and takes you where you want to go within certain “Service Areas” in Norwalk and Westport.

How does Wheels2U work?

Wheels2U is a new concept in public transportation. The service takes multiple passengers heading in the same direction and books them into a shared vehicle. Once you request a ride with the Wheels2U app, our computer algorithm matches you in real-time with a shuttle that will pick you up at your location and get you to your destination as quickly as possible. Typically, the trip time is comparable to other ride services.

How long will I wait?

You will always get an accurate estimate of your pick-up time before booking. You can also track your vehicle in real time in the app.

How many passengers will I share a vehicle with?

The number of passengers varies based on your trip and the requests of other riders at that time.  Our shuttles are spacious and can easily accommodate up to 12 people.

What else do I need to know about using the service?

If you require the use of a wheelchair space, you can note this in the app under your rider profile.

Any time I try to schedule a ride it keeps saying try again or cant find a ride. Such a shame because this would be such a great idea if it worked

within seconds of booking a ride, I got a message that I was being charged a no show fee and that the driver had departed

No guaranteed ride. Why even provide this service when you don’t even know that you’re actually gonna get a ride or not. Also, the wait is insane 25-30 minutes sometimes even more because drivers like to stop and sit at random locations…. on weekdays the service supposedly starts at 7am but whenever I do request one at that time it’s extremely hard to find a ride. Make a change get more vans/buses or something because this is outrageous.

Usually busy and hard to find rides and when there are some available it’s rare that you’re able to get picked up right away. I’ve had very few good fast rides but even when I was the only passenger it took some time to arrive at my destination. Though the price is nice.

I used to love this service, as I always used it to go to work or head home. But ever since they changed the times during the weekend, I literally have no use for it anymore. I don’t understand why service starts at 7 during the weekday, but 1 during the weekends! Me and a lot of people I know who use this service are very upset about it. Please change it back!!!

The system is set up to either make you wait for 30 +mins or tells you to take the bus? 
Also the app is ran by Norwalk Transit 
It Takes you 1hour + to get anymore not including the way back 
We pay for an app to be told that our options don’t matter?!!

The app is great for transportation, but I’ve noticed extra charges when requesting a ride. If a ride gets canceled due to high demand, I’m still charged a $2 fee. This is frustrating, especially when the cancellation isn’t my fault.
