Also, requiring your birthdate is an unacceptable invasion of users privacy. Clearly UAT is not a priority, and nor is users privacy. Wheeltop needs to seriously reevaluate their business model. I won’t be using their products anytime soon unless they address these issues. ### 1/5 — Where’s the battery indicator? *2025-02-18, version 1.1.6* The app used to show the battery status but this has gone. ### 1/5 — Seems to work but critical flaw - stuck on 12s *2024-11-28* Mostly easy to figure out how to use the app. If you understand how electronic shifting works, you can get yourself up and running in 10-20min. BUT …. the cassette option is stuck on 12s which is a problem for an 11s transmission. Wheeltop you really need to fix this as it makes the system unusable! Giving it 1 star until this gets fixed. ### 1/5 — Not exactly user friendly *2024-08-27, version 1.1.3* It’ll take most people quite a while getting gears to sync properly and adjusting front mech is total guesswork. I’ve spent hours adjusting the front mech and gave up as the chain keeps rubbing in the lowest gear. You’d think it’d be simple but translation makes this harder than it should be. Gear numbers are the wrong way around which you should be aware of. When you micro adjust rear gears nothing happens until you change up or down so it’s guess work. Needs to be simplified and updated so adjustments happen when you make them. ### 1/5 — Registration failure *2024-08-01* You must register before setting up shifters. Unfortunately for me it freezes and will not respond to Submit prompt. Wasted a lot of money on useless shifter. ### 1/5 — Problem with registering *2024-07-23, version 1.1.2* Aside from the spelling mistakes I can’t get past the ‘please set your avatar’ part of the signup process on an iPhone 15 pro Max running iOS 17.5.1. Update: Managed to do it after trying about 30 different images. It let me register with a downloaded meme graphic but wouldn’t let me use the camera photos it took itself or any images in my photo library. The app signup process (seems to be mandatory) feels like a huge privacy invasion and then doesn’t work reliably anyway. We will be declining service on Wheel Top electronic drivetrains in our workshop moving forward. ### 1/5 — Latest up date useless *2025-07-12, version 1.1.7* Latest update has rendered a pretty poor app, almost unusable. No longer able to fine adjust due to error messages and constantly dumping me out on IOS. ### 1/5 — Can’t micro adjust with latest version… don’t upgrade! *2025-07-10* Just upgrade to the latest version of this app and the micro adjust feature no longer works! This is problematic if you need to adjust the shifting on any single cog. Yes, not as simple as say Di2 but once each gear is dialled in, you’re good to go. ### 5/5 — Great App but slightly confusing *2025-03-30, version 1.1.6* The app works great but it’s very confusing due to one simple thing. The app connects to the equipment great but then all options fail to work and this took me over 1 hour to resolve. There is a blue tooth icon that needs to be clicked on the equipment to connect it to the app although you think you’re already connected as the app is displaying the equipment. Once this is clicked the equipment and app works correctly and is an absolute great setup. ### 5/5 — Easy to use *2024-08-25, version 1.1.3* Logged in signed up no issues app work well with equipment and is easy to use ### 5/5 — Works *2023-11-03* The app works and does what it needs to for you to set up the EDS, adjust gears, index the gears, etc. The app could use some work with translating and the UI isn’t as smooth as it could be. Nonetheless it’s essential to setting up and using the EDS derailleur and it does what it needs to. ### 4/5 — Background operations *2025-04-13, version 1.1.6* This app is necessary to adjust the Wheeltop derailliers, and does it well, despite the terrible translations. (Please fix this) But why does the app continue to run in the background even when not in use? Whats going here??? Recent firmware update has much improved the Autotrim shift. Albeit rather slow. Thankyou. ### 3/5 — L’application ne fonctionne pas *2024-06-28, version 1.1.2* 1.0 A première vue l’application semble bien fonctionner. Mais quand vien le temps d’ajouter un appareil l’application se ferme sans aucune raison. J’ai fais plusieurs teste et je ne suis toujours pas capable de connecter mon dérailleur. Vous devriez apporter une mise a jour pour régler se problème. A suivre. 2.0 j’ai refais le teste 3-4hrs plus tard et tout semble fonctionner. Le dérailleur a été connecter j’ai pus faire mes ajustements. ### 2/5 — Works but needs help *2024-11-07* I have app version 1.1.4 For the most part the application does what it is supposed to do. As stated before and on many YouTube reviews the wording is difficult to understand and the navigation isn't always intuitive but you can find your way around. The one big problem I currently have , I can't choose the "replace cassette" function. Which is also where you choose how many gears you wish to have on the bike. I can navigate to where it says 12 speed cassette Buti am unavailable to click on it to change that setting.
