It is limited in so many ways— for example job-title filters only allow you to set to 1 and then they have to be reset each time when attempting to capture a shift —should be able to set and leave indefinitely. Still allows for multiple logins so there is no honor in trying to get shifts because several people can be logged in as the same person. Why isn’t there some sort of color for jobs, shifts worked vs. upcoming. Please update this app to a more modern flexible version. As of right now the menu tab at the bottom does not even work. There is a lot of bugs and fixes that need to be made but aside from that, w2w is a organized, well structured, easy to use platform. ### 2/5 — Issues with the menu. Ex: seeing my own pick up requests for past shifts or shifts given to someone else. Website can see all that but app can’t so it leads to issues when a shift that i requested was given to someone else but then it turns out they need me anyways. Because the pick up request had disappeared from the app for me but you can still see it on the website. I just wish the app matched the website. Also it randomly crashes and just won’t load. Plus the scheduled maintenance hours are never getting anything done but they take up lots of time. So idk. Im not sure what’s taking them so long to release an update to fix the issue. It’s blank when I check. The app is such a waste of space now. ### 3/5 — iPhone App Issue - Reinstall *2025-11-24* iPhone users tip: I also was affected by the recent update making the app unusable. I was finally able to get the app to work again after completely deleting/uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Everything seems to be back to normal now, but it was a very frustrating experience to miss shifts I didn’t know I was scheduled for since the app was blank. ### 3/5 — Push notifications stopped coming through *2025-11-23* Overall, a pretty straightforward and easy to navigate app. The only issue I have with it is that I have push notifications turned on through the app AND notifications for this app turned on through my settings, and I still don’t receive any notifications for this app. And I know it’s an issue with the app and not me because this happened with my last phone, and now I have the iPhone 17 pro max all updated and everything and it’s still an issue. I’ve also tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and still nothing. I’m missing out on some important work things! I would also love a pink option for one of the color settings. If I wanted to use the browser I would just use the browser. I know it’s partially my fault but the app does not show you what shifts you request to pick up so if you set it down for a while and forget you’re screwed. It also doesn’t show conflicts between multiple jobs so that you don’t overbook and I’ve done that a bit. It’s not really user friendly in that aspect. I also have an issue with the list option for your schedule only showing two weeks and not your whole schedule that’s posted it’s just a minor thing that’s just really annoying and an oversight. They can make this app better and interstate the separate schedules in a certain way that allows to just look at both simultaneously instead of just one at a time constantly logging into and out and then logging into the other and out. The update added so much more that we can do now where before we used to have to go to the desktop version. And people are freaking out thinking things are missing like seeing who they are working with when I found at least 3 different ways to see it! Maybe w2w needs to add a “what’s new” thing after an update for the not as savvy users but it’s pretty easy for me to just look around Edit 2/21 - love the new update! The new dashboard visuals for my schedule look great and it's easy to see when I am working next at a glance. Not sure why other reviews say they have a problem with their schedule not showing or whatever. Mine works great. Older review: Yay! So happy that Whentowork has an app! It makes it so easy to be logged into multiple accounts at once (I have three!) and see everything in the dashboard. Looks great too. It's a nice and clean design.
