### 5/5 — Nice app

*2018-07-03*

This app is exactly what I’m looking for. but too expensive for me.

### 5/5 — The potential is worth paying in advance for.

*2018-07-02*

I love this app, it’s made my life so much easier in just two weeks of using it. I’ve saved at least an hour of productivity everyday eliminating the usual back and forth to figure out a time for 15 minutes of conversation. There’s a lot of potential for the app, and I already subscribed for a year because of how quick I got a response back from their support when offering questions and feedback.

For me, the best part of this application is being able to monitor availability based on multiple calendars. Used Calendly for years, and the fact they couldn’t integrate more than one calendar to track free time was absolutely frustrating.

Looking forward to seeing what’s next.

### 4/5 — very good concept and shows lots of promise

*2018-06-26*

I really like format and ease of use but why limit this app to ios devices - I would like to use it on my mac - possibly by signing into a website.

Question or suggested enhancement : rather than me sending an email invite to a client to schedule a phone call and then having client decide they want a meeting with me instead which makes me have to send a new email invite (this time for a meeting) is there a way to send client an invite letting the client choose among interactions: phone, meeting, etc and then have the app show available time for the type of interaction client wants.

also would developer please explain the extras that come with upgrade other than number of appointments that can be made monthly - Thank you !

**Developer response:** You can create multiple event types (phone call, meeting, etc.) each with different durations or locations and publish each of those event types to your publish scheduling page (e.g. when.works/fred). Then, if you send your client a link to your public scheduling page, they will be able to choose the type of event they wish to schedule first, and the resulting booking options will be specific to the type of event they selected.

The Free and Pro versions contain the exact same feature set. The only difference is the number of meetings that can be booked each month. The Free version allows 5 meetings per month, the Pro version allows unlimited meetings per month.

We are planning a Mac version in the future. :)

### 5/5 — Great concept - Excellent execution

*2018-06-20*

Finally, an appointment scheduling service that actually saves me time and seamlessly updates my availability based on multiple calendars. I have not had a single issue since I started using it.

### 5/5 — Genial

*2018-06-19*

Super simple Bedienung. Wer Termine vergibt, für den ist WhenWorks genau das Richtige! Jetzt nur noch auf Deutsch gerne😊👍🏻

### 5/5 — What a time saver

*2018-06-14*

I love how seamlessly this integrates within iOS, and clients have been appreciating the speed in which we can organize appointments.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Stopped working recently (July 2020)

*2020-12-09*

No longer syncs in the background. I’ve missed multiple meetings because of this and the developers’ response was “just open the app once a day so it can sync.”

No thanks. Broken app since it was purchased by a new company 6 months ago. Avoid.

### 1/5 — Awful App, worse customer Service

*2019-10-03*

Do NOT download! Scam company! Won’t let you cancel your service! Scam!

App did not work as advertised. I canceled service and even got a “cancellation” email from Whenworks. 7 months later I’m still being charged for a useless app that I canceled.

No response to 4 emails to support.

Do NOT download!

### 1/5 — Must have a bug

*2019-01-17*

I created an event but when I go to preview the times it won’t let me see more than 4 days in advance. :(

### 2/5 — Strange, misses events

*2019-07-12*

Strange that this app shows times that are open even though I have scheduled events on my Cal during that time. I believe the company went out of business because I emailed support with screenshots and never received a response.

### 2/5 — Too Limited

*2018-06-18*

Tried it, but ultimately deleted it.
I’m a local Santa who books time for personal, home visits during the Christmas season. This seemed like a great idea, but it is just not flexible enough for my use.
From instance, my visits are in increments of 20 minutes, but this service is limited to ONLY increments of 15 minutes. And, I only do visits from 11/1 to 1/15, but take requests for that season, year round. This service requires me to custom configure each (76) day/date individually, in order to accommodate this. And, the client must scroll to the day/date they are interested in, a tedious one-day-at-a-time (it’s designed for “the next available appointment”). And, Since I make “house calls”, I need to make allowances/gaps between visits based on drive time from the previous visit (something Apple’s Calendar does, but this doesn’t). No can do. And… well, you get the idea.
This might make an acceptable solution for barber appointments, but the more flexibility you need the less acceptable this becomes.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. Yes, WhenWorks is optimized for users who need to fill regularly recurring time slots each week (sales people, technical support and training representatives, financial advisors, attorneys, educators, personal trainers, massage therapists, hair stylists, photographers, etc.). Hopefully we can make the app more flexible to fit the needs of users like you in the future.

### 3/5 — Doesn’t Work

*2019-05-16*

There aren’t enough options for limiting how far in advance clients can book (auto set to 90 days). Also, rescheduling an appt is not always an option. Not enough options for professionals. Client feedback has expressed frustration with app.

### 3/5 — It’s got potential

*2018-06-20*

I've just spent a couple of hours setting this up and playing with it. I think it has a lot of potential. I am not crazy about the two stage process you need to go through to get the calendar of availability on the webpage. I feel it should be possible to combine the calendar of availability with the timeframe requested (the second page you have to navigate through) and have it dynamically update to avoid the extra step. Or maybe someone has a better idea?

I am also frustrated by the fact that the pre-booking description is the same both on the initial "book some time with ..." page and the actual activity (second) page, unless I am missing something. It seems so obvious to me that two fields should be able to contain different content that I assumed it was an oversight.... if this is by design, then this is a feature request. It would also be nice to be able to add some customized welcome text to the initial “book some time with” page above the list of activities.

Some of the Interface of the app is a little strange... you can see the options of an event type, but you can't edit them without going back a page to tap edit before returning to the same page to change things? OK, whatever.

For a 1.0 effort, this is pretty good. I am not yet sure if I'm going to stick with it, but it does seem to work as advertised.

**Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. It's appreciated.

Regarding the pre-booking description being repeated. The reason for this is that there are two options for sending a link to a guest to book time with you:

1. You can send a link to your Public Scheduling Page where all of your event types are listed (e.g. Phone Call, Meeting, Coffee, etc.). The pre-booking description for each event is displayed here.
-or-
2 You can send a link that goes directly to a specific event (e.g. Phone call). The pre-booking description appears here too since this may be the first page a guest sees, and to provide context for the event they are about to book.

There may be a way for us to improve this as we continue to refine the product over time.

### 4/5 — Brilliant when it works

*2021-03-29*

Brilliant but is appears to be defunct now?

### 4/5 — Incredible...use it with multiple calendars

*2019-07-26*

I love this app because it’s the only scheduling app I have found that works with multiple calendars.

I have only had one issue. If I put this app on my iPad in addition to my iPhone, it changes my default calendar from my Office365 calendar to the iCloud calendar. The fix was to delete the app on my iPad.

The advantage of being able to work with multiple calendars far outweighs the bug I mentioned. This is the best scheduling app out there.

### 4/5 — Great app with greater possibilities

*2018-06-27*

Very useful.. could have more options for events and customised timings

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Wonderful!

*2020-09-01*

This is what I’ve been waiting for and I really like this approach to the ever annoying problem of finding the right timeslot for different types of events. Especially the ability to manage everything via app really makes a difference, to me. On top, the support is excellent as well. Can’t wait to see how this will evolve even more, over time.

### 5/5 — Perfect simplicity

*2020-05-20*

I’m a pastor and include a link to my When.Works schedule in my email signature. My congregants have quickly taken to using this to schedule phone/Zoom calls. I love how user friendly it is for all of us.

**Developer response:** I'm very pleased to tell you the app is back!

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2020-05-09*

Very good app, easy to setup and surely efficient. The only one that connect my multiple calendars so that I’m sure to be available for the RDV.
Happy that this app is still available!
Just a suggestion: it would be nice to be able to reorder the questions while created.

### 5/5 — Just the best

*2020-05-03*

This is just so simple to use. Really nice app. Very ‘Apple like’ thank you x

### 5/5 — The best scheduling app

*2020-01-03*

By far the best scheduling app! User friendly, reasonable price. Please don’t go away

### 5/5 — Happy Music Teacher

*2019-07-03*

This app is gold. I can schedule with students in multiple cities and use this link as a reminder to keep my students reminded of their lessons.... just AWESOME!

### 5/5 — Very convenient for my workflow

*2019-01-21*

In my line of work, I am constantly scheduling meetings with various people who come to my office. WhenWorks has saved me many hours of back and forth with others to find agreeable times. I keep the options simple, and I’ve received lots of positive feedback from clients for the ease of use and efficiency in scheduling. After a few months of using it, I rely on it now.

### 5/5 — This saves me at least 20 minutes a day

*2018-09-18*

Usually, I have to go through multiple emails of back and forth to get a meeting scheduled. Sometimes it takes days to settle ona time. This app cuts that Dow. To 1 email, and before long the meeting is in my calendar. Yes!

### 5/5 — A Rare Five-Star Review From Me

*2018-09-07*

Love, love, love, love, LOVE this app! I love that I can actually do this in an app instead of on a website. I love the options. I love that I don’t have to grant access to my accounts. I love the mobile website that my clients use. I love the price (I upgraded to Pro).

### 5/5 — Simple // Fantastic

*2018-08-28*

A fantastic and simple app. Has saved me tons of time when scheduling meetings by just forwarding a link.
