## What is Whey to Go?

Track your food, workouts, water and progress in one beautiful app, not five. Log a meal in two taps, scan a barcode, and let an on-device coach adapt to you. No account. No cloud. Your data never leaves your phone.

Most trackers make logging a chore and turn your data into their product. Whey to Go does the opposite: fast to log, calm to look at, and completely private.

EVERYTHING IN ONE PLACE
Stop juggling a food app, a workout app, a water app and a spreadsheet. Nutrition, training, hydration, body metrics and progress all live together, so your whole day is one glance.

LOG FOOD IN SECONDS
- Built-in barcode scanner: point and log
- Fast search across a huge food database
- Save the meals you eat on repeat, then log them in one tap
- Track calories, protein, carbs, fat, fibre and key micros
- Set portions by serving, pack or 100g

TRAIN AND MOVE
- Plan and log workouts with multi-week training templates
- A rest timer that keeps running with the screen off
- Walk tracking that syncs with Apple Health
- Swim, run, cycle, hike and yoga sessions, each with its own stats

SEE REAL PROGRESS
- Weight, measurements, BMI and progress photos
- Clean trend charts that show the signal, not the noise
- A weekly check-in that turns your week into one clear number

YOUR OWN COACH, ON DEVICE
- Adaptive guidance that learns your habits, right on your phone
- Insight cards and a maintenance-calorie target that updates as you change
- Pick a tone: a supportive gym buddy or a no-nonsense coach

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
- Local-first: your data lives on your device, not on a server
- No account required, so you can start in seconds
- Encrypted iCloud sync keeps your own devices in step
- We can't read your data, and nobody else can either

MADE TO LIVE IN
- Ten themes to make it yours
- Apple Watch app and home-screen widgets
- Two-way Apple Health sync
- Dynamic Type, full VoiceOver support and 15 languages

WHAT IT COSTS
- Free for a week, with everything unlocked
- Then monthly, yearly, or a single payment for life
- Barcode scanning is included. You won't find it behind a higher tier
- Every paid plan is ad-free
- Your diary lives on your phone, so it stays yours whatever you decide

Whether you are cutting, bulking or just staying on track, Whey to Go keeps everything in one private place, and makes tracking something you will actually keep doing.
Start in seconds. No account needed.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.1.1 — 2026-08-26

Your reminders actually arrive now.

The reminders step never asked iOS for permission, so daily nudges, the weekly check-in and water reminders existed but never fired. That's fixed: say yes to reminders and they arrive, including a day's warning before your free week ends.

Also new: bring your MyFitnessPal history across from Settings (under Backup), a clearer countdown while your free week runs, and a straight look at what you keep on each plan when it ends.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-08-10

Sessions that aren't in a gym.

Swimming, running, cycling, hiking and yoga now log beside your lifts. Each keeps the stats that actually matter to it, syncs both ways with Apple Health, and runs on the Lock Screen and the Dynamic Island while you move.

You can now eat back the calories an activity earned you, if that is how you like to work.

Also here: a body-recomposition goal, a Trends screen whose layout you can rearrange, a unit switch you can actually find, and a long list of smaller fixes across onboarding, body and water.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-07-29

Fixes in-app purchases & subscriptions being unavailable in some regions. This caused an infinite spinner to appear, meaning you weren't able to purchase the app. This issue is now resolved.

### 1.0.3 — 2026-07-25

No release notes.
