Unfortunately non of the filters on the app work meaning you’re looking at a lot of horses you’re not interested in which quickly gets boring ### 3/5 — Amazing idea but very buggy *2023-10-17, version 1.0.51* Absolutely love the idea of this app. I hate scrolling through webpages to view horses so an app is a much better alternative. I love the design and interface of the app. However it takes forever to load the available horses, and often freezes or doesn’t load pictures. With some tweaking to the bugs this app could be amazing it’s just a shame they let it down so much. ### 2/5 — Poor message service! *2023-08-09, version 1.0.49* Overall the app did the job. Although the message service kept crashing while typing. Very frustrating. This seems to happen more often than not. Hence only 2 stars. Surprised Whickr has not managed to fix this problem as clients keep complaining about it. Moving forward I had to PM any interested parties. ### 5/5 — Best horse selling app!!! *2020-06-19, version 1.0.31* We recently had to make the difficult decision of finding a home for our fantastic young dressage horse that we have owned since a yearling. We decided to use the Whickr app and our horse found a super home almost immediately. It was also a slick, easy and an efficient process. I'm extremely impressed with how good it was and the communication with the team at Whickr is excellent. Highly recommendable - we will only use Whickr going forward -Thanks so much! ### 2/5 — good idea *2020-04-28, version 1.0.27* the app is a great idea however it is incredibly difficult to use since it crashes every time i try to open it! and it’s not because of the search parameters because i was just looking at horses. i have all the recent updates too. very frustrating and put me off - who wants to delete and re download! I can’t find a price range and although I clicked on the distance button, I was getting the same photos come up of ponies miles away that were also way too expensive. Highly recommended ### 5/5 — Absolutely brilliant! *2020-02-12, version 1.0.21* Buying and selling horses is a nightmare now that Facebook has banned the sale of livestock. This app is an absolutely brilliant idea and makes it so much easier to buy, sell and search for horses. I used the app initially to look for top quality show horses but ended up selling one through it in the end. First person to try the horse bought him and all the features of the app make it so easy to use! The fact that you can message back and forth with other users without having to exchange telephone numbers or email addresses is brilliant too as I hate handing out my personal details to people I don’t know. I can’t recommend this app highly enough... the only problem is my partner hates me using it because I keep finding horses I wand (need) to buy! Customer support is excellent too, they contacted me to advise me to add more information and add the Horse to different categories in order to make him appear to more people in their searches. One day after they pointed this out to me, I had tonnes of interest and he sold days later! ### 5/5 — Amazing *2020-01-22, version 1.0.19* An excellent and innovative approach to buying and selling horses. The app is easy to use and the concept is really exciting. Some brilliant horses to be found! Will be using Whickr for all my future horse buying endeavours. A complete waste of time and money. ### 1/5 — I would put 0 stars if I could! *2025-02-16, version 1.0.56* Wanted my exact location, everytime I tried to log in it would say error, wouldn’t let me create a new account, and was tracking my data! When I can search messages are frequently ignored which I know isn’t the always the app’s fault but it seems so clunky and hard work. I therefor tried to put in my username and password (as that’s what it said to do) where I was then later told the account had already been created by that email and that the password was wrong (even though I’d never downloaded the app before) After trying all my email accounts I decided to give up. So gutted! ### 1/5 — . *2020-03-04, version 1.0.22* Not happy at all. Won’t let me open any messages off clients. Making it extremely hard to try and sell my pony. Not happy at all😡 ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work *2019-11-21, version 1.0.8* To search what’s for sale or loan you have to select either “horse” or “pony”, there’s no option to browse all, which means for people like me who are looking for something between 14h and 15.2, I have to keep fiddling with the search filters, repeatedly filling in the age and height fields which reset when you change from “horse” to “pony”, so a bit of an annoying faff. The app also immediately quits and refuses to reopen if it doesn’t like your search parameters. I assume it’s because there are no ads fitting your selected options so instead of telling you that it just stops working altogether. The only way I have found to fix that is to delete the app and reinstall it. There was lots to love: easy to upload the advert, attach videos and reply to messages. But the best thing was the quality of the buyer. All the potential purchasers were serious and I didn’t come across one time waster on the app which is so rare when selling a horse! It made the experience so stress free for me. My horse has gone to a fabulous knowledgable home.
